At just 17 years old we wish him a long and fulfilling career. Facts 'n' Stats Under Dick Adocaat, Sunderland have averaged 1.3 points in their six Barclays Premier League home games, having won, drawn and lost on two occasions each. Tottenham have failed to score in half of their last eight away Barclays Premier League matches. Sunderland are without a home victory in their last five Barclays Premier League meetings with Spurs (D2, L3). Tottenham have failed to win in their first four games of the Barclays Premier League for the first time since the 2008/09 campaign. Miss-firing Harry Kane has only managed two goals from 28 shots in his last 12 Barclays Premier League appearances. In the 12 league matches before that, Kane had scored 14 goals in 33 shots. Eight for the 10 goals Sunderland have conceded this league season have come in the first half. The Black Cats have drawn more Barclays Premier League games than any other side in 2015 – currently eight.
Hoping for a draw but I could see us sneaking the 3 points if we catch them on an off day... That said I can see us being battered if they catch us on an off day. Thanks for the thread thunkster.
That reminds me. Hit it bitches! http://rokerreport.sbnation.com/2015/9/11/9310797/match-preview-sunderland-vs-tottenham-hotspur
I hope so marra otherwise I'm in for a miserable drive home in a car full of Spurs fans Although Its my car, so I can always **** off and leave them standing if need be I can see us getting 2.... But how will the defence perform ?!?!?
I just hope everyone can make the game thanks to the gnr. Look north had the police propaganda team on saying the clash was all the pls fault. They could easly have refused to police the event.
Who remembers the Spurs were ran on to the pitch at the Roker End late 70's the year they came down ? Canny game.
Thats the score i put in the prediction league I can see a **** load of goals. At both ends. All season.
Big Younes to score a bullet header from a corner early on and Borini to score on his debut in front of the north stand. 2-0. Haway the lads!
Thank god the proper football is back, I don't think Spurs are a particularly good side but Harry Kane finding some form playing for England is a bit of a concern, we seemed to be getting it together a bit before the international break hopefully with the deadline day additions and Dick having chance to work with the players for a week we'll continue to improve and put in a good performance. As for result it's one of those games where either team winning wouldn't surprise me, I'll take a wild guess ata 2 - 2 draw.
With our defensive displays being woeful but with us having a good ability to score there should be bags of goals in this game.........so I'll take 1-0 to the lads!!!
I will be meeting Smug and Gordon Armstrong in the Victory Club before the game...Anybody fancy a pint with us will find us in the alcove upstairs..
