This afternoon has been my equivalent of the Archway issues, specifically i cannot find the brick i need in designer despite being able to find it on ebay. Oh well, onwards and upwards....
Should complete the exterior today. Then i should do something else as my eyes hurt. I'm well ahead of the 600 hr target :)

The only vague reasons that I might give the police a pass on this one is that I can't really hurt and that people like to insert themselves into investigations.
Actually playing the part of yourself in a murder that you committed would probably be a first, though.
Brilliant idea if it actually was him! <laugh>

    It's fiendishly devious.

"Of course, they've identified me, I was on Crimewatch." It would help rubbish the identification evidence of any genuine witness.

I like the way you think. Talk about hiding in plain sight.

On the other hand, the problem here is that we’re reducing police work to a level police are all too capable of.

Who dunnit--well, it’s that one, saw him clear as day on television...

And the BBC may find it difficult to get actors to play murderers in live cases in the future.

"How does fifty grand and time off for good behavior grab ya?"

The CIA has already reached this level of investigative acuity. They arrested one of their own Gitmo interpreters. It was an open and shut case, as it was clear the man had been having frequent conversations with known terrorists in Arabic.

Just in case we need a reminder of how great we are:
    • The first club to win the 'Double' of the FA Cup and Top Flight Championship in the 20th Century (1960–61)
    • Most consecutive League victories from start of a top flight season: 11 (1960)
    • Most victories in a League season: 31 out of 42 games in 1960–61
    • Most points in Division 2 season: (2 points for a win): 70 (1919–20)
    • The only non-league club, since the creation of the Football League in 1888, to have won the FA Cup (1901)
    • The first club to win the League Cup at the New Wembley (2007–08)
    • Fastest ever Premier League goal scored: 9.7 seconds by Ledley King against Bradford City in 2000
    • First team to concede 1,000 goals in the Premier League[14][15]
    • Most goals scored in a Premier League game: 9 (joint record)
    • Most prolific goal scorers out of any English team in European football competition, scoring an average 2.1 goals per game
And that's not all our firsts either I can think of at least one in European football.

A woman is found guilty of sexual assault for pretendiing to be a man while dating and having sex with a woman, who took years to figure out that something was missing from their relationship. The "victim" says she is straight.

I'm not sure it can. In fact with measurements like that I wouldn't be commissioning a model of Stonehenge if I were you!

A propos of nothing in particular, how come Winks was given the squad number 29? He should have been 40, surely?
(He might have got in the Lazy B*st*rds XI then, too!)

Must be because of his great record in our games against Mancunian opposition.

How high does Spurcat have to count up to on one breath before posting the names of the planned refs for our games ?? :)
