    There was some hint or other by her that we'd be going out this Saturday afternoon. I didn't even protest, I was quite relieved if anything.

    It would be entertaining if you could do banter or occasionally write something funny. As it is you're just an angry, rather dim, old man who inevitably resorts to calling people "prick" or similar before, hilariously, asking them to meet up for a fight. You must look quite funny sat in your bedsit, angrily bashing away at the keyboard while screaming "FACK YOU YOU FACKING KANT" at the screen.
