Thank you Yorke, i've missed being here with everyone!

I've been posting lots for us on twitter over the last few months and am trying to keep that going, giving us more views maybe and hopefully in time additional posters... Maybe!

Morning all, bright and sunny with a high of 26°C forecast for today. :emoticon-0103-cool:

Coming towards the end of the heavy stuff for Mme's redesigned garden. She seems happy, so now I can go and do some more work on daughters house this afternoon. By this evening I might get down my fields that have been sadly ignored of late. Not at all sure how I ever found time to go to work. :emoticon-0107-sweat

Good to see you around again H. Glad the move went smoothly, but how have you unpacked so quickly? I still have things in boxes that have been there for eight years. The things that might be useful one day have not been required yet, or I have forgotten I have them.:emoticon-0101-sadsm

I was like a woman possessed lol. 5 and a half days it took, i had my efficient head on... I haven't seen that head in a while! Lol. The kids were away which made it all a lot easier :).. And i was determined to be through the worst before they came home! Now I have to stop buying things for the new house! Amazon is a terrible site, it keeps taking my credit card and using it.. Tut!

Sæl öll. Tea and coffee, donuts and fruit are on the bar.

Half and half coffee for Brian
    Black coffee for Bragi

If anyone wants a special drink tell me. The old list was too big.

The airfield is in sun as it is located to the south where the hills are not too high but the town is still shadowed.

Our nation has offered to take 10 000 Syrians! Where they would be housed is a big question but I do not think we will have many actually wanting to come as we are not United Kingdom or Germany and we do not have a large islamic population for them to join. I believe there is around 1 200. As most live in Reykjavík new arrivals will stay in that region as the number outside the capital is very very small. I feel threatened but being one in 1 200 then one in 11 200 must be worrying, especially if you are one type of islamic group and they are all another. To give an idea of numbers if Britains population is 70 million you would add 2.2 million new people!

I think the cultural shock will fade to a distant second as they try to adapt to your outdoor temperature! Brrr

    Hi H
Glad you are back. been keeping an eye out. but not seen you at the games. Thought you might have been at The Palace Theatre on Sunday for Vol 4 of "Tales From The Vic..."
I have just cleared out the loft (and filled a 6yd skip) as #1 son is coming back to live for a bit and threw away stuff we put up there when we moved in 23 years ago!

Missing the frustration of the Prem. Booked a hol to the coast with wifey over xmas. I´ve seen all the immigration stuff back in Europe/Blighty. Anyone should be free to roam the world IMHO.

Mexican Independence day soon, many people want to stay quiet as the president "shouts for Independence" know as "El Grito" here as he holds the national flag aloft from the national Palace in the Zocalo - the plaza in the heart of Mexico City. It has been a controversial term so far, for the leader of a party, PRI that were dictators for 70 years before. I don´t really care, all Governments hide things and are corrupt, at least I can get on with my life, plus the 16th is a national holiday!

    Hope Watford get a win soon, I wonder when/if it´ll come. :emoticon-0112-wonde
Wonder if the Algerian and Colombian will add some dynamic play to the top three...At least we are solidish at the back so far. <ok>

Morning all, thanks ak, needed the coffee this morning. Tried to order some goods from Amazon UK to be sent to friend in Dorset, so when I am over at the end of the month I can pick them up. (£9 postage saved.:emoticon-0100-smile) His address does not exist according to the web site, yet they have many parcels delivered from Amazon. Wonders of the modern world!

Can your friend not place the order himself using your card details? I assume you'd trust him with your details!
