Lewis Cook and Stuart Dallas both returned from international duty unscathed, and are expected to be in the starting line up. Jordan Botaka will have to make do with a place on the bench. Leeds have not lost in the league this season, but too many draws have meant they are a little way outside the play offs. Brentford have played one game less than Leeds. They have drawn against Ipswich, beaten Bristol City away, but have lost against Reading and Burnley. They have scored seven goals in total, but have conceded eight.
Niggle match which should be a bit tasty due to Rosler and history. Not expecting a classic but Brentford play football and we can too so may be proved wrong, but the crowd should take us over the line with a win
Morning troops. Hope Brentford don't come & park a bus. If they come to play, we should have too much for them. Leeds to win 2-0
Morning all. Thank God proper footie is back. That international footie was doing my head in. Hoping for another top Leeds performance and a win. Im sure though we may have one in our midst with pages of material ready and waiting for first defeat. Mind you, yesterday was a bit of a landmark day
I'd be happy if we avoid defeat. We seem too positive, it seems only the Leeds way to lose when we get too positive.
After the first half against derby i want us to push on and win this one. We play like we did between about 15 minutes and half time and we win this by a margin. Problem is we just seem to tire and mowatt unfortunately is the worst for it. Had rosler taken him off ten minutes earlier he would have been lauded, but he tired got sloppy and that over shadowed his entire performance. Personally I'd like to see us start the same and then get the new lad on half time for mowatt, give both a full half to see them do their best
Never mind all that Matty. Welcome to the board. How did you find us? Most new peeps inroduce themselves in the newbie thread mate. Something along the lines of where youfrom, how long you been Leeds, first match seen... Best match seen that sort of stuff. You ain't a deserting Millwall supporter are you? Place is fecking full of them already.
Welcome to the madhouse Matty. I'm with Boggers and RCDM on this one, 2-0, good clean sheet and Dallas to get on the board. MOT
Evening everyone, hoping we can win this one at home otherwise it undoes what we did against Derby, feeling confident that we can shade it.
He went when he saw a paddy/mick/jock/Spanish invasion coming. Something to do with dirty immigrants not getting the irony of them flooding on here trying to subvert the English way of life.
If it's the same mattyp on ja606, then he's from ja, however, This is a different and much better forum so he's welcome, let's hope he leaves ja606 at ja606......
Hey'up Josh, I had a funny feeling we were due to beat Derby away so ticked a Leeds win in PSD's weekly football tipping comp, had'em in my bookies 3 bets too, problem was, the other two didn't come up trumps. I think Brentford are going to be hard to beat this weekend, they had the better of us twice last season but, they have a slightly different team this season, as do we. I'm going for a very hard fought win to Leeds, probably by only 1 goal, but wouldn't be surprised to see us draw again. We haven't hit the dizzy heights of scoring for fun, or with ease yet, nor is our football whiz bang wallop stuff, but we are slowly improving and do expect a 2 steps forward 1 step backwards hiccup along the way; if we continue to slowly improve then we should be around top gear by the last third or quarter of the season and hopefully, challenging in top 6 or 2.
