  1. Agree with cellar temperature for most but there are some that are better cold

Apply for the job of Security before application closes. Would recommend Administrative manager considers your
    application.

Beer is best cold when it has a taste you don't enjoy and are only drinking it because you're 18 and think it makes you look cool.

Beer is best served a little below room temperature when you enjoy the flavour and want to savour it.

There is a reason some beer is served ice cold: it tastes like Crap and that hides the flavour. Call me a beer snob if you like but I refuse to drink bad beer.

/ actually I can't drink much beer anymore gives me leg pains.

I know I'm in a minority, but I just don't get it. Like smothering a meal with a really hot curry or chilli - I don't see the point of having something if you can't actually taste it.
Perhaps it's because I don't often drink lagers, most people that do seem to think they're better for being cold.

    I agree with this.
Apart from your leg pains, because I'm not in a position to have an opinion.

  6. Peroni is a great example. Arguably one of the best and most pulsar lagers but it's a lot better cold than cellar temperature. Fosters on the other hand is the opposite

When we were on our crawl around Liverpool on Saturday, one of the lads had a Stella as his first pint. Once it was pointed out to him that 8/9 stellas was not a good idea he decided to drink bitter as everyone else was. He has been a lager drinker all his life and was amazed at the fact real ales all taste different, he had only tasted John Smiths, Tetleys etc before and assumed all beer tasted like that crap.

I suspect by the time of our next crawl he will be a real ale fanatic/expert now he has the taste.

The only bad tasting one I had was Punk IPA, very hoppy and not for me, so I swapped with a mate who likes it and had his Silverlight which was a decent brew.

The BrewDog pubs are good if you want beers with something about them even the standard lager is a bit different.

A good keg IPA will take the cold and still give you flavour but your point is very much valid if you take fosters or Carling and super chill it you take away any little flavour that was there in the first place. To do it to Guiness is just daft.
