We can only hope that if berahino starts he will be unsettled and the crowd get on his back. Am worried our Rickie will be up for this one. He wouldn't do that to us would he?!
Hoping we can get something from this game, and I think we will! My team would be: Stekelenburg, Cedric, Fonte, Van Dijk, Targett, Wanyama, Romeu, Davis, Tadic, Mane, Pelle. Hopefully we will have Clasie and Bertrand back for the United game!
He is a goal machine If he scores, we will have to stop ourselves from cheering out of habit. Perhaps he will score an own goal for old times sake.
You could see that Pulis was up to his old tricks when we played them last season. There were no ball boys, clearly to slow the game down. Pulis had the dubious honour, at Stoke, of presiding over the team that had the ball in play for the smallest proportion of the game time. Per game, Stoke fans saw the ball in play for seven minutes less than the top teams. He's clearly brought the same tactic to WBA. It must be like watching a time wasting team but instead of the last 20 minutes by the leading team it's your own team doing it from the start of every match. Depressing. Vin
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...tml?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490 Article in the Mail suggesting that there may be fitness doubts about Berahino. If WBA are anything like us nothing will come out from the club....if I was a betting person, I would guess he will at least be on the bench.
While the media were making huge assumptions that Berahino had left words out of his social media tweet, was I the only one who thought he meant that he wouldn't muck his chairman about, even though he believed he felt he had been treated improperly.? ‘Sad how I can’t say exactly how the club has treated me but I can officially say I will never play Jeremy Peace.’ To me that fits way better than suggesting he'd never play for WBA again.
Just our luck he'll have a blinder .......... Hope Jose has got his "I'll sort him out" boots on .................

For those poor souls, like me, who went to last seasons game will be braced for another helping of Pulis gamesmanship. 1. Time wasting to the extreme inc tactical ball boys who speed up for WBA and slow for opponents unless they are in the lead when you couldn't go any slower 2. Play for free kicks in the opposition half....diving! 3. Play for corners rather than going for crosses/shots 4. Hoof 5. Incredible grabbing and pulling at corners 6. Niggling opponents at every opportunity Well I am looking forward to this one but there again I now live only 20 miles away
Was it at WBA last year that the Saints fans were counting the number of seconds Foster was holding the ball? Vin
Yes it was, we actually got up to 30 seconds with the ball still in Foster's hands. It wasn't until injury time that the ref actually booked him. Fraser Forster actually Twittered him taking the "Michael" out of him for doing it. They were slow before they scored but afterwards....oh my lord, I have never seen anything like it
You should be able to watch it if you click on my post once it's finished. There is sometimes a lengthy delay at the start but just skip that until you get to Ronald.
