    There'll be a change of mind on Rooney's England career when he's retired from international level and we're stuck with complete clowns akin to Emile Heskey upfront.

    Common knowledge if you know your history. Charlton scored many a spectacular goal from distance. Missed many more. Great player, but Rooney is far more well rounded.

    The teams he played alongside between 2005 and 2012 had loads of quality, yet he scored a total of 1 goal in the 3 tournaments he played in during that time. Quite simple if you actually ****ing watched them.

    Rooney has scored many goals from various places on the pitch. He's also missed many more too.
