Leeds friendly

Yes i know this article is very much in advance, but there's a few things that i'd like to discuss about it.

First off, who's going and when should we expect our tickets to arrive?

To the main point, assuming everyone is fit, who do you think we should play?

Should we just do what we did last time? Strongest team out first, and then bring the reserves/kids on later in the game? Or different?

If everyones fit i'd personally start with (Apart from the obviously injured Guthrie and Ferguson) -

Even though i've been very critical of Forster, i believe everyone desreves a proper chance, so i'd give him another game. If things are going tits up, then we can always bring Krul on. I'd also give Vuckic another chance, despite not impressing me in any of his performances really so far, however i realize i might have been harsh seeing as he's been injured, however he still has to prove himself. I'd not start him, because i wan't Marveaux in there, aswell as Ben Arfa and Ba.

Also i'd like to see Jonas back along with Enrique. Colo and Taylor should get rested for the USA, and Willow and Kadar should start IMO.

Tavernier, Smith, Raylor, Best, Lover, Vuckic, Jonas and Gosling all should make appearances.

 

3 games before that mate

 

Barton should be playing, he misses the USA tour so should definitely be getting game time in the Leeds and Fiorentina games. Not about proving himself its about match fitness.

Also you say "Colo and Taylor should get rested for the USA", you realise this game is after the tour?

Leeds is after that , we play Kansas on Wednesday.

 

Hope Guthrie and Ferguson arent out for too long. Think I read Pardew said they think Guthrie's looking at 7-8 weeks.
