Saw this and couldn't help but chuckle!! http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/spor...003460?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=facebook
He can't hold down a place because he runs around like a headless chicken and lucks out the occasional half of football and fools daft pundits in this country into thinking he is some top level player. You may think I am being biased here but there is no way in hell Palace are bigger than Newcastle. Better, maybe (although with Pardew in charge, that will change) but they are dwarfed by 90% of the league! The other clubs leave us in their dust mind you!
The stupid French twat Everybody knows that The Skunks are the biggest club in the world . . . . with the best fans in the world, who always support their team without a hint of complaint Sissoko, who should have been sent off before the other dirty bastard was against Arsenal, should boycoutt the French national team p.s. 'Palace will never be anywhere near as big as either of our two teams up here
Jokes aside, I agree with you mate. Just found it funny! To be fair though, Pardew doesn't seem to be doing too bad a job of it so far does he....
Love a bit of controversy with them up the road. Can't wait till Yann steps ahead of him in the pecking order too.
He used to start seasons well with us to. What happened after January though.... . Hey, if he wants to go to Palace (he is a sub at all the other clubs he mentions at best) then I am more than happy to drive him there myself. The Wij can take his place in the middle
O.k., Pardew might make Palace the more successful of the two clubs for a season or two. After all, he took Newcastle to two fifth places, one tenth place, and Europa quarter-finals in about four years - this is not a bad manager. But to describe them as an all-round bigger club than Newcastle United is just a joke. No way is that true.
He's a bit over rated is Sissoko, every now and then he'll go on a little run of hot form but for the most part he just runs like a headless chicken with the ball, but because he's of the Yaya Toure build with power, some people think he's a beast. That Perez kid is twice the player he is, holds the ball up better and is much cleverer moving with the ball.
Palace bigger than Newcastle? That even offends me Sounds like someone wants to go live in that far off distant land called London
It makes me laugh when the media refer to clubs like Swansea, Palace and Stoke as being "bigger" than Sunderland or Newcastle. They're certainly better on the pitch at the moment, but barring any Man City-esque takeovers from rich Sheikhs they will never have the history and support that the North East clubs have.
The million dollar question innit, I don't know what parameters should be used to define a big club but surely to god winning something has to count... Palace have never won a thing.
Just my opinion. A combination of history, honours, fan base, stadium and current standing.. We are one of the biggest clubs in the country as are Newcastle and I won't have anyone tell me different.
