Don't try then, be somebody else... what's the point of trying to get back to somebody who did 'that' to themselves?

Skipping breakfast man... I couldn't do that if I wanted to, I wake up starving.

Just force yourself to train, in the morning, do a big leg session, if you're not hungry after that then there's no hope for you.

What about this match, you got tickets sorted?
Good advice, bud. We all change and need to evolve. It's amazing what you can do with a bit of dedication. Slowly but surely building up is better than flash in the pan training.

I've always found Dropkick Murphys to be really good work-out music, definitely gets you revved up.

I find I go for powerful songs that peak at some point, if I'm going for it hard I need some big music in my ear, this morning I used Two Steps From Hell - Heart of Courage. Proper popular song in the movies world but nothing I'd ever want in my car!

Silent Alarm by Block Party is a superb work out album. High energy, manic drumming and songs that peak.

I want a pull up/dips tower but I don't think they're worth the £120 they charge so I'm going to build my own out of wood and sh1t. Not literally.

Anyway my question is, when I'm dipping and pulling up like there's no tomorrow is it going to burn calories and help to lose a bit of beer belly or is it purely muscle building? I'm guessing it will burn a few as it's hard work.

Also, am I correct in thinking those two excercises will help tone my lower chest? Upper chest is fine thanks to years of bench pressing but lower chest not so much.

Dips and pull-ups are probably the two most beneficial body weight exercises. For fat burning as a standalone exercise, not the most effective but any exercise that involves using so many different muscles will inevitably burn some calories.

Dips for chest are the equivalent of decline bench, much less shoulder involved so yeah it will develop pec depth and width better than any exercise.

You''ll burn some calories, as Juan says, doing these excercises, but probably more important are the calories that will be burnt in the creation of the new muscle and thereafter the daily maintenance and survival of it.
