Is it me or should Ben and Taylor swap positions??? Plus I wonder if there's a buy back clause for jazz?
Yep, dogged stuff from Israel. Be interesting to see if we come out second half like a train or if there's a change in tactics, maybe try and draw them out a bit. A draw gets us there in the long run so not the end of the world if we don't win.
Would've been good to see you guys tie it up today. You've still got that Andorra game in your back pocket though, so you're as good as there. Well done lads!
Israel came to do a job and did it, barring the nailed on penalty we didn't get, so fair play to them. Looks like the Andorra game will be the celebration game instead
Good old John (Jack) Hartson... "I don't think we should be disappointed at all. Wales gave absolutely everything they had to a man. They've been terrific. They should have won today's game but a totally incompetent official gets a big decision wrong. He's bottled it. My five year-old daughter Stephanie would have done better than him today. But I believe we are on our way to France."
Officials stopped us celebrating today but we are use to that, we have the plane booked and passports ready but cant board yet and i mean yet, it could happen tonight if a result goes our way but even if it dont we will eventually get there im sure of it.....
Disappointing but Israel got it spot on. Parked the bus and hoped for a hit on the break. We were unlucky not to win but I still think we'll do it.
Well I personally think that yes, Israel just defended well in numbers, which made it very diffuclt to break down, but we lacked any urgency. Far too often, just as in the Cyprus game the first thought was to go backwards. I lost count the number of times Ben Davies ran forward 15 yards with the ball to then pass it back where he'd came from. Throw ins were the same, so many went back towards the halfway line when we were in line with their box. I know everyone is disappointed we didn't get the win today, but I feel more disappointed at how we had no ideas after the first 15 mins.
