Sorry to take a fairly irrelevant part of your post, but is there any point in being the only transfer window left open, as in theory you could not sell or buy players to/from any other country! Just a thought. I suppose you could transfer players within your own country. I didn't think of that
No restraints on free agents finding a new Club. They have to eat, and pay bills, just like the rest of us.
If the rumors that he is about to quit football is true then that would explain the lack of comments from the club, I said when this thread started that i think michu when here showed signs of being mentally unwell and that can infect anyone of us for any reason. His problem with his ankle in the past dont help him and only makes things seem worse. If it is the case of really bad mental health issues then he wont be able to communicate properly and the club must know this......Who are we to judge something that we are not fully aware of and i think we should leave it to the club to decide what to do, We can all speculate including me but should it turn out he has mental health issues then i can understand the quietness from michu and the club and i wish him well....
I'm struggling with the mental health issues as he certainly didn't display any of these symptoms during his first season with us. At least not what I saw.
He started kicking advertisement signs,and behaving rather oddly,after scoring. Perhaps that was a sign that all was not right with him.
I'm just wondering would we have signed someone with mental health issues? Surely it would have surfaced a long time ago in a tabloid paper, especially when his star power was at its strongest? Also, should these rumours be true, the surely every professional club he's been at would have given him the required support etc.
All prospective signings receive a medical check up.but I doubt being screened for mental health problems would be part of it. Michu became an overnight sensation,and it's possible that this newly acquired fame simply took it's toll. It's such a shame that his decline was so rapid,and now he has almost become a figure of fun,someone to be reviled,and laughed at. Football followers can be such arse holes.
Care to show us any evidence that any football fan has poked fun at the possibility of Michu suffering from mental health issues? Appalling accusations to make.
It has been mentioned on this forum,that's where I got it from, and he has been reviled by many,for quite some time. Since last season,in fact. Apparently he has been swinging the lead,staying in Spain,refusing to play,etc.,etc.,etc. The usual crap that surfaces here from time to time. Some people have very poor memories - when it suits.
When I refer to this "forum",I mean this board. Someone quite recently talked about him possibly having mental issues. I'm not suggesting he has,but it's been mentioned more than once. Your high dudgeon is quite mystifying.
There is no proof that he has a mental problem, or for that matter a physical one. Unless he or the club comes out with it then it's speculation.
Really? I haven't seen anywhere that Vetch mentioned that people were making fun of Michu for having mental health issues. What I have seen though is a lot of speculation and innuendo on the situation with Michu, some maybe correct, some will definitely not be true. The problem is that nobody knows outside of the club and Michu and his representatives what is the truth.
It was mentioned on here during michu's second season with us that the way he was acting that he was depressed and showed signs of mental issues. I remember discussing it on here. I recall he was having problems back home in Spain. Mental health issues come in many forms and the remarkable change in his game and arguments with his team mates suggested all was not well with him......I think the club knows the facts by now and we should give him all the support we can while nothing is publicly known by anyone other than michu and the club.....
