What reasonable level did you play at, out of interest?

 

Local amateur. Point being that I didn't just sit behind a keyboard.

In fact so. Personally I don't consider that my own "local amateur" football career somehow means I know more than anyone else. I know more than everyone else for other reasons

I played in the FA Cup once. That's why I know that I know best.

 

Sadly my greatest achievement was keeping a clean sheet in an U14 Jewish football cup final win in front of 100 or so people at Wingate & Finchley FC so I bow to your greater knowledge on absolutely everything.

 

I should point out that the reason I only played in the Cup once was because we lost. Perhaps I don't know everything. Almost everything but not everything.

 

But you have played at local amateur level which is good enough for me.

Yeh I agree judgement should be reserved. The likelihood of him not living up to what we require is what I've been on about really. For me, all I really care about is, have we bought someone who will bang in 20-30 goals. I think we need that.

The rest was comparing one extreme to another (Henry to Bebe) which doesnt help. We're all guilty of that and I'll hold my hands up for my part there.
