Roy Keane may have been a great midfielder for United but I would say he was a ****ing moron for saying that. Now would you say that Maureen was a moron for saying what he said or was he right to say it?
I don't think he is a moron as everyone is entitled to an opinion. He shouldn't generalise though. You said that Chelsea fans are clueless because Jose said so. Therefore United fans are clueless because of what Roy Keane said, by your logic.
Roy Keane is still the best all round midfielder to have played in the PL but he's also a certifiable nut job. That said on occasion the atmosphere at OT can be awful, not as bad as Stamford Bridge though. Arsenal even worse. I should warn you Smithy, if you continue with this discussion Blueman will be asking to meet up with you soon. Not for a fight apparently. Perhaps a sandwich.
Well it's not difficult mate, read points A, B, C for Henry and then A, B, C, D for Bebe. The whole point of writing them was precisely to show why one is likely the other is just hope. To be honest, to have to list them at all should be considered an insult to the intelligence of anyone with at least half a brain. It's not rocket science, it's fairly obvious. Still don't get why someone saying he could be good but could also be a flop is somehow "writing him off" or being negative. Is it bcos I offer an alternative to the "he must be good bcos we're signing him" narrative? Hence why in answer to your question, if he turns out to be good I'd be delighted, but I wouldn't be wrong
ive got better things to do than to have a sandwich with a deluded chav who according to his manager does not know very much about football What's to discuss any way? The chavs horrible boring football last year? The chav buying United reject Pedro?
You may well be offering an alternative but who is saying he must be good because we signed him? Comparing with Bebe has to be a joke, surely? Bebe was a complete nobody signed on a whim (wasn't a video the extent of out scouting?). There were suggestions of it being a favour for Mendes among other rumours. The only link is the fact we didnt have a clue who either were. That's it. According to the club we have been watching Martial for some time and have taken the decision to sign him. He's been signed both for now and the future, unlike Bebe who was never intended to be used in the first team. Martial has also played in the Champions League so while young, has that experience already. We all know the fee is bonkers. Its a world record fee after all. It shows incredible faith by the club though, which is important. I suppose how you view the club as a whole right now can alter your perspective on this transfer. Someone who views it in a less than positive light, might see this as absolutely crazy. A random event without planning or sense. A more positive, or hopeful view would be, that this transfer is exciting. A young unknown about to be thrown in at the deep end. Its gone both ways in the past but every time its been exciting. Anyway, we will all be in a better place to discuss once he's played a good few games for us. Will he pull a Rooney (unlikely) or something closer to Ronaldos debut against Bolton. Im not sure if he will play v Liverpool but it would be some game to kick off his career. The confidence and belief he and the fans would get if he did well would be good for all.
Totally unknown by anyone, apart from United, City, Chelsea, Barcelona, PSG and the French national manager
The unknown Martial out sprinting Usain Bolt (Hector Bellerin) see from 5.45 onwards. For anything else watch the full video. It's from youtube but all one match, not a compilation of best ever
This ****ing chav Cvnt does not know anything about football and he refuses to admit it. No need for a massive melt down, sad clueless chav moron.
I think you slightly miss the point. None of us are saying he is certain to be brilliant. But you think he is LIKELY to be a flop (from your earlier post). While from the reports we've received and not seeing play for us yet, from an objective view point, he is at this point in time 50/50 and judgement should be reserved.
You've got the hump because I won't call Jose a moron. Do you even know what a moron is? From the Oxford dictionary. Definition of moron in English: noun informal A stupid person: Now I don't think for one minute that Jose is stupid. Out of order sometimes but stupid? No. You say I know nothing about football? Well I played at a reasonable level for 15 years and I have forgotten more than you will ever know. You went into one because I called you out because you said that all Chelsea fans know nothing about football because Jose said so. I stated that it wasn't true. Anymore than all United fans are clueless, which isn't true. The posters on here for instance are good, knowledgeable people (apart from a couple). If you want to blow a fuse over it then carry on but you are in every sense of the word, a moron.
