I think that May have to do with the moving of games from the WACA to the new stadium.. The WACA needs an upgrade badly mate..
England got a terrible record there anyway. One win in 13 i think. Too much bounce for us, so much so that the keeper has to stand a good few feet further back. Having said that i bet the new wicket that they drop in will eventually be the same..
QUOTE="Aussie blackcat85, post: 8345325, member: 1024844"]Enjoy it fellas! Wish I could stay up and watch us piss all over you's [/QUOTE Must have known another wicket was about to fall lol. If Warner doesn't come back out to bat the soft ****e that's 4 down!
We chased around 400 down once against NZ and rain stopped us from doing it again against NZ but that seems along time ago and unless we chase this total down i reckon our bubble has burst...or is that me being harsh?! We would have chased this total down nee bother at the start of the summer..
Wel! Starc threw the ball at "him" (if he'd stood still it would've hit him and nothing else) but he parried it. It was going to hit the stumps undoubtedly but it would've hit him had he it moved first! Me... I'd be throwing every ball the was gently played back to me full pelt at smith and claiming. I'd defy anyone in the game not to do what Stokes did
The stokes dismissal doesn't decide the game. It was in the 26th over and you's were cruising to victory losing the next 4 wkts cheaply didn't help.
Over here the Aussies are claiming it was not that contraversial as the rules say batsmen should not interfere with the ball on the field of play or somesuch. For me it ranks alongside Lillee's under arm last ball of the game that prevented NZ from possibly winning an ODI back in time.
One thing it does tell me is that Smith is out of his depth as Captain - any TRUE international captain would have withdrawn the appeal after the heat of the moment had passed its just not in the spirit of cricket. Personally if I was the English captain I would tell the bowlers that EVERY time the ball is hit back to them throw it at the stumps regardless if the batter is in or not something may develop now that the rules of engagement have been established. Oh and Starc is a total and utter w**ker
I think we would have lost anyway and this deflects attention away from it. But Smith hasn't come out of this very well not that he will be bothered like..
I am not saying we would have won anyway but this reflect very very badly on Australia and even worse on Smith now that we know what he is
