Apparently we're perpetually in their shadow and will never come close to the trophy haul they gathered while all the worlds best players and managers clambered to join their team of galacticos. I wonder how many teams in League 2 go overseas on pre-season tours. Maybe they all do, I genuinely don't know.
Of course they did. The only problem will be the infamous Portsmouth calculator, the one that moves the decimal point two places to the left before paying. I'm genuinely not interested inthe rivalry but as a thus relatively impartial observer, their desire to be seen as intensely local coupled with their failure to pay local businesses always left an unpleasant aftertaste.
