For the past two years I have been happily watching live soccer on:
    http://gofirstrow.eu/

I think it was someone here who first introduced me to this website, for which many thanks.

After clicking on my choice of match, there were anything from 1 to 7 feeds to choose from, though some of those might be in foreign languages. Often some of the feeds were unwatchable because of slow buffering or poor picture or sound quality, but overall I have derived a lot of free enjoyment, I have certainly been watching three times as much football as I ever did in the UK.

The drill was that adverts would pop up and it was necessary to close anything from one to six of these before I could watch the game. Maybe you IT-savvy types could obviate that but, so long as I allowed a couple of minutes for that ritual before kick-off, I did not mind. It was a small price to pay.

For the last two days, however, I cannot get past one or other of two particular adverts. One is for iLivid, which cannot be closed. The other is for Alibaba, which repeatedly reappears if closed. As a result, I cannot arrive at the match feeds. These two adverts seem to affect all matches.

Has anyone any advice on this? Is anyone else experiencing similar problems? Or can anyone suggest a different website altogether?

Can't help. I am IT useless. My experiences of live streams has always involved the stream cutting out after a few minutes, and on one memorable occasion, I managed to infect my laptop with such a large selection of Virus stuff that it needed to be repaired and wiped fairly clean. Threads like this always set my imagination going, as championship football does'nt arrive in Spain, but I'm not gonna risk it again.

Install firefox (if you haven't already) and get adblock - stops all these pop ups.

Here are some more free streaming sites

If you're using an iPad/Phone use LiveMediaPlayer.

It's ad free and can stream channels from all over the world. If you find out what channel your match is on, you bet it'll have it. There's over 200+ sports channels.

kodi works well. gives you all the british (and others) channels free.

apart from the above suggestions, if adblock dont remove the ads, i look at the source code (html validator) and just find the line of code for the stream - copy that into a new tab and you get just the video, no garbage.

Many thanks to all who contributed to this thread, and especially to our distinguished guest from Millwall.

Installing Adblock is free and took ten seconds. I use Chrome, for which it was designed, and it has enhanced my viewing greatly.

Tonight I enjoyed watching New York Red Bulls v Chicago Fire. Hard to judge the standard but it was certainly entertaining, maybe because the best players are mostly in attack (a bit like schoolyard soccer where being made to play in defence was a real insult).

BWP looked very good. After being deemed not up to Championship level, he has made a very good career in the States. Good for him. He scored and Lloyd Sam won a penalty. Brother Sean was a late sub and waddled around.
