**** international football ( fair play to the Welsh btw)but LFC is all that matters to me.

Fair play to those that are into it but international footy is detrimental to club football.

The Welsh will be lambs to the slaughter

However, England, led by the great Rooney and Roy will slaughter everyone in their path. Honest

I would have thought it the other way round, with club managers trying to fit too many players into the wrong positions and leaving better players out.

Yeah, but club football is the raison d'etre of the sport.
Internationals are just a bit of fluff.

In all fairness I think it's ridiculous we play as separate countries.

One trophy between the 4 of us is a joke. We have one main government we should have one FA.

Combined we would have a better trophy haul too. Yeah, there are times England would have dominated the XI, but other times that Scotland would have.

Shame GB never got together Rushie could have won a world cup with his moustache and the backing of Britain.

Stupid in the 21st century we play as seperate teams. Once there was no international footie. Homenations had to play against each other. That is history now.

We'll surprise a few out there I'm predicting 1/4rs depending on who we draw we could do better. Engerland will do their usual capitulation to some lesser ranked team and the red tops will call for Rooney shot at dawn and Roys head on a spike at the tower..

Dunno. As the smallest nation I'd doubt I'd see many of our players on a GB squad. The downside is rare qualification to the competitions but the up side is when we get there it's great (hopefully this time!) Win the next two games and we'll be almost there! With the bottom two in the group as our last games...

... and then the FA will extend Roy's position to dictator of the England team for life.

Isn't Cornwall the smallest nation in GBR? <whistle> They can't make the England team let alone team GBR but I'm sure they're happy to join in the successes... <whistle>
