Lets hope the midfield can give us some entertainment.. the Merc's look to be in a league of their own.. again! If Hamilton gets pole and gets out of the first chicane first, then Nico won't be catching him..
Looks like Buttons McLaren isn't going to be working for FP2. That'll save him a couple of PU's, they're rated for about 27 minutes I think.
Hope the Fezzas are closer next year. Three easy titles in a row is troublesome, even with my fave driver.
Just a really clear point to make from today, the Mercedes works team have their upgraded engine whilst all customers do not. That is why, no matter how much you don't like it, no customer car will win a Grand Prix barring reliability-based flukes and has zero chance of a world title. Frightening pace from Mercedes and the gap shows no signs of closing. Tremendous from Force India given they are a customer. Thats about as good as it gets for a team like that, hope their two drivers nail it tomorrow and give themselves a chance.
Indeed, Sauber got Ferrari's Canada update in Spa, the Mercedes customers are looking like getting theirs for Japan/Russia. Renault don't do upgrades and Honda don't do power units. I wonder how Red Bull would react to being treated as a customer.
