To follow on with my theory, obviously the dead one wouldn't be able to speak. The living one of us would have to ask questions or make suggestions with the dead dude using the or as communication

I vote Tobes Why am I being voted for when I'm a known innocent?

 

This tells us the medium dude could be good or bad. That could be through his own choice, part of the rules or manipulation, we don't know.

That tells us that the medium is town aligned but could be used for evil, therefore we can eliminate it being Valley's choice IMO.

Is there a ruling that says he must act as evil aligned despite being town aligned? Can he be manipulated? Are others controlling some of the things he says? Or does the evil aspect not kick in until nightfall?

Valley's already told us one of his comments was a lie so manipulation is a possibility. Nightfall is obviously going to be needed but does the medium need to be dead or alive for that to happen?

What do the dead know that we don't?

For what its worth...

AFC and I are both surfers and we were told our roles are more than just the piss take they appear to be, we have a purpose that will be revealed after the game if we don't figure it out.

We were also told that one of us had to die for the other to win. Reading between the lines, does this mean the town are unlikely to win if we're both living?

My suggestion was, one of us commits suicide (three posts without surfer words) to find out what the dead know about this game. He can then communicate using and in this thread. The living surfer would have to make suggestions etc for the dead dude to respond to. Aka; surfing the (dead) wave.

Both AFC and I stand to lose the game if we both live (town could possibly still win despite that)

We can kill the evil players with night actions, the question atm is, what do we do with Valley? Lynch or no lynch? The dead need him somehow but we don't know how.
