Plenty of them are staying for the fight mate, Jaysh-Al Islam for example, there's 10,000+ of them, they're ****ing nutters. They go round capturing ISIS members and brutally destroying them, although they're probably deemed a terrorist organisation themselves. They were set up to chase Al Qaida out of town originally and now they just go round ****ing **** up, a bit like our platoon I'd imagine <ok>

    <laugh> probably <laugh>

How long do you think Anfield and St James Park would last before we had to blow it up in a 'military operation for the benefit of the country'?

10,000 mate but in a country of millions of men. Any fit and healthy, able bodied adult should be made to stay and fight.

I was thinking we would use Anfield as some sort of sanitation, toilet facility. Or maybe like the UK version of Guantanamo Bay, even though it would violate every human right going, keeping people hostage in that rancid, rat-infested museum.

Jaysh Al Islam are only one of approximately 1,000 factions, if that's the right word. Obviously more of them are cowards, running away, but I guess if they have artillery and all you have is a frying pan most people are gonna run for the hills.

IMHO the majority that want to let them in are nimby's.
'Please allow these people in but Not In My Back Yard.'
Let's be honest about it. How many of you would open your own home to them or even welcome them into your own street?

    I'm nominating Relic.
He was born before Hadrian's Wall was built - he knows a thing or two about local warfare.

We could do with a chef mate, your wife up to the job? I'm sure we can find something for you to do as well if she agrees to get on board.

And no mate, I won't be joining, I don't take orders. From anyone. Got a stubborn streak a mile wide that's got me into trouble with blokes much bigger than me in the past.

I'd be my own resistance group :bandit:

Who's suggesting opening their home to them? If a few Syrian families moved in along the street it wouldn't bother me, assuming hypothetically there were places for them to stay. Plenty of English people I'd dislike moving in more than them.

Certain parts of the country probably have had too much immigration but some aren't very densely populated and have the capacity. If they're fairly distributed around Europe then it won't be too much of a burden on a country with a £1.7tn GDP.
