Not true, and they do have less than altruistic reasons for doing so.

Open question... if you had to leave Britain because it was over run by terrorists (say 3 years from now to be realistic) where would you go to seek refuge?

I'd probably wanna go to Canada.

I'd be more preoccupied with getting to safety than picking my dream country, so Ireland or France, probably France in case they get overrun then there's land boarders for safer escape.

I'd like to immigrate to Canada but that is personal preference. ;)

    Only
To me the last line is a bit dismissive, it may be more accurate to say that all countries are self seeking, and that most people are decent deep down, but some are more easily led than others. This is too big an issue for a football forum, and I also like Liverpool so there. :emoticon-0128-hi:

You've lost me with the Liverpool stuff.

I was referring to Jews... Israel go to all lengths to ascertain and establish the safety of overseas Jewish communities. I can't think of a single Muslim or Christian nation that does, it was a bit of a throwaway comment in all fairness, I'm not looking to go into detail, I'm sure you can prove me wrong <ok>

I'd have my own partisan group mate (obvs I'd lead it) and would go around destructing all the rail and transport services they would be using. We know this country better then them so guerrilla warfare would suit me and my troops down to the ground ;)

Look when Netanyahu called for all the Jewish people in Europe to 'come home' after the France terrorist attacks.

Ooo! I'll join that. I was running because I knew full well the Army would never give me a weapon. But this group sounds good.

Australia... the furthest away place possible.

It's interesting mate, I'd want to get to a country where my family would be safe but at the same time I'd want some form of life at the other end, you've just illustrated that same mind set. You wouldn't want your kids dumped in Ireland or Holland, for example, which I guess is the logic behind the way these Syrians are thinking.

They should be granted asylum at the closest place offering safety, but they want a nice country, just like you do for you kids and I do for my family <ok>

    No difference.

I know all the nooks and crannies in the Trafford Centre, I'd go in there, it'd be like picking a good vantage point in Call Of Duty!

The comment said those guys looked like they had access to gyms. Maybe they've had access to''military'' training

They aren't staying for the fight though! I'd take as many women and children as we could take (only on the agreement that they get sent back when the war is over and the country has been made a safe place).

We haven't got a clue who all these migrants are all of a sudden, for all we know one thousand ISIS might not be all over Europe ready to strike us from within. It's all these blokes 16-60 who should be staying to fight for their homeland and who come with their ****ing mates for a easy ride that pisses me off.

I chose Australia because that's the place with the safest people I know, if it had of been Germany for example, I would have said there. That was just a personal thing on who I know that could look after the kids.
