Give it a ****ing rest mate, you haven't seen him play yet, in fact he hasn't even trained with his new team mates yet. You know nothing about him so how can you judge him? Every player has to start somewhere, it's not his fault he started in Norway. He's only 25, he's just been capped by his country and he can only score in the games he plays in. 17 in 25 or whatever it was is a great record, if he was English and playing in League 1 or 2 he'd instantly be signed up by a Championship club. He might have fluffed it in Belarus, but as they say "in Soviet Russia, football watches you". It'd freak me out an arl. Give him a chance, wait until the end of the season to decide how good he is and stop being such a pissy pants moaning badger-bollock.
How's Diomande pronounced? If it's Dio-man-dy then it could be: Oh Diomandy well, You came and you gave without taking, But I sent you away. Oh, Diomandy well, Kissed me and stopped me from shaking, And I need you today. Oh, Diomandy
He's from ivorian descent so it will be a French name I presume dio-monde or dio-monder It won't be dio-Mandy or dio-man-day
" A Double Diomande works wonders, works wonders, works wonders, A Double Diomande works wonders, so lets have one today !"
The name ought to have an accent on the e. That changes things doesn't it? So sez an expert in my family. Ismaël Tiémoko Diomandé (born 28 August 1992) is an Ivorian footballer who plays as a midfielder for Saint-Étienne in Ligue 1.
Just watched some videoage of him, it's going to be a culture shock coming from those extremely noisy crowds of 3000 to the silent 20000 crowds here.
It's a very good idea to have a song for him Mind you it would be good if the crowd sang any of the other players names too! I can't believe the lack of songs we've had for players in recent years ( the only one which really took of recently was the McProtestsong ) I assume that Jelavic wanted to go because no one joined in with my fine Wizard of Oz rendition of "Follow the Jelavic goals..."? Don't blame him either Fans have been woefully inadequate in this regard Consider yourself bollocked
Totally agree. There was a group that got together to try and to improve things, but unfortunately the initiative was shamefully scuppered.
Following a significant change in exiled's circumstances, I suggested that he should hand this over to someone else in January, but as he felt passionately about it, he wanted to stick with it. He's obviously not been able to progress it as he wanted, but the email group is still in place, the volunteers are presumably still willing to help, there's absolutely no reason why someone else can't take the lead and try and move it forward.
It's a shame that's only just been said, given there were emails and messages sent about it since January. It was a good idea ****ed up.
