which signing out side the top 6 do you wish we had signed? It would be cabaye or payet at West Ham to really classy midfielders signed at a snip really.
I'd second Ayew, that one actually raised my blood when I seen it go through. Not for a second saying we are better than Swansea but why didn't we try? Shaqiri & Afellay great work by Stoke, Huth to Leicester.... I think a number of clubs, and I include ourselves, have done very well this summer.
Shaqiri, really rate him and he would have been a beast for us. I would say Cabaye but I think he's a scrote so I wouldn't actually want him at Sunderland. Although I also would. Mixed feelings on that one haha.
Ayew, but I wouldn't discount M'Vila being the best outside top 6. One classy player. Just waiting for us to have no chance signing him at the season's end.
Wij..... Oh wait I am actually jealous of you guys signing M'Vila . I have wanted us to sign him for many, many years and I was gutted you got him.
How much better would we look with Huth ? ****loads i reckon. I still reckon were gonna have a punt at Vlar around xmas when he wont be too far out
I think Leicester done well getting in dyer from Swansea on loan. It's not the signing I'm most jealous of, but he would have been good for us. Ayew a great signing. For the price we paid for Coates and kaboul, we could have got Micah Richards and huth, and that would have made a big difference to us.
100k a week with zero transfer is £5m a year - and, if he keeps going at the rate he is currently, he'll be worth 5 times that by the end of the season! Best business of the summer for me by a mile!
Marseille weren't happy about losing him anyhow, they valued him around 20m if I remember correctly. I think Arsenal would have been all over that if they didn't already have so many pacey winger-cum-strikers in their squad. I'm surprised Liverpool never went for him though, it was inevitable that they were losing Sterling from probably this time last season. I don't think he'll keep up this sort of strike rate but they've got a good player for sure. He's bringing the best out of Gomis and vice versa. Not jealous of any club's signings in the league.
I would have been mate, if De Gea left I still rate Cech as one of the best, but he'll struggle to keep up that reputation with tweedle dee and tweedle dickhead in front of him and tweedle **** for a manager.
I know man! I used to think Wenger was a decent gaffer in the past but think the game has moved on and he is still stuck in the past! If they had a decent manager then I'd have backed them for the league!
He's pathetic, sits there moaning that other clubs are spending too much then in the next breath he says there's nobody worth buying. Why doesn't he just admit, the players he wants to sign are all above his station, not a single one of his targets is realistic. I don't feel sorry for him one bit, it's all his own fault.
I think Cabaye would've been perfect for them - proper footballer but a right dirty little twat too! Just the type of player they need - there's no way he's out of their price range - he's gone to Palace FFS! If that's "out of their price range" then they're shopping in the wrong places!!
Cabaye's decent but they're flush with midfielders who create, they have Ramsey, Ozil, Cazorla and Sanchez all interchanging. They need a clinical striker, somebody absolutely ruthless like Suarez. They think they're funny making £40m+£1 bids for him, hahaha who's laughing now though? Barca paid what he was worth, Arsenal are just a ****ing joke of a club, you want a player, pay like everybody else has to.
