Seems some Spurs fans have identified Levy as the problem (I've been telling them that for years)

"I'm not sure how any Spurs fan can be happy with this situation right now? No one can sit there and bull*** me by saying spurs have got enough options upfront to compliment Kane because Spurs wouldn't be putting in these last minute bids for Berahino if we weren't in desperate need for a striker. Which then leads me to believe that Levy all along knew West brom wouldn't accept. He knew all along these last minute bids were a ploy to show the media and the spurs supporters that he "tried" ...it's like Moutinho, it's like Musachio, it's like Schneiderlin... no doubt in my mind Daniel Levy is pulling the wool over the spurs supporters eyes and has been for years.

Me and a few other supporters on here figured out this bald c*** years ago hence our negative stance on him in regards to our transfer policy. What Levy does in the background in regards to the stadium etc I applaud but that's where it stops!!! stay the f*** in the background Levy and do the internal stuff at spurs like you do but lay the f*** off the transfers you useless c****!!!

We have been down this route year after year with the same mistakes being made year after year. If you wanted Berahino which clearly we did then why wait for the last 2 weeks of the window to make your move? Surely as a number 1 target you go in early so if any complications arise you have enough time to get the deal sorted instead of frantically trying bids with 2 hours to go Son and Njie are 2 exciting signings but they are not "strikers". If Harry Kane get's injured who the hell do we replace him with? Adebayor?

What an utter shambles from top to bottom!!! The fact that the Spurs website changed Hueng min Son's profile online from midfielder to striker speaks volumes despite them denying it. They knew damn well spurs were not going to sign another striker and so did the fans who know how our w**** of a chairman operates. The pathetic "levyd" noise we get from a certain section of our supporters have nothing to say now. Your bald hero has been properly "levyd" by a guy who wasn't going to take his s**** and I await to see what excuses you have when Harry Kane get's injured and we are left with no striker......not to mention another superb bit of news with Adebayor still lingering around the club like a bad smell to dare is to do???? f*** off!!!!!

As for Berahino, when the dust settles he'll realise that he'll have to play for WBA. He's not going to go on strike as he'll be in breach of contract and it will **** his career up. He'll get his head down and get on with it.

Talk of not playing for them again, was just a reaction to not getting his move. But to be fair WBA said all along that he wasn't for sale.

  3. Nah, we'll compensate him for any losses that he suffers as a result of his direct action against WBA oppression. I'm sure that Levy will have communicated that to the lad.

Not going to happen mate. Berahino is a WBA player, he's under contract to them and they've been consistent all along saying that he wouldn't be sold.

Besides, you don't need Berahino, you've got N'jie and Son <laugh>

  5. We'll either pick him up for £25 million in January, of £15 million in the Summer. The choice is Peace's.

**** it! If I was Levy, I'd offer £16 million in January, just to give Peace a slap! He won't be messing with Levy again any time soon, son!

If Levy had offered £25m for him a few days ago, WBA probably would have sold anyway. 'Shrewd genius' <laugh>

Berahino will knuckle down and get on with his job at WBA, if he continues to improve as he has been, then by the time he's available again, one of the big clubs will come in for him. Knowing that they will be in key bargaining position because he's on a short contract.

Either that or he'll stay with WBA and he'll sign a new contract, thereby increasing his value to WBA.

Why are you quoting the same bloke that Old Faithfull did?
Not only is it from another site, but I've already pointed out that the bloke said that he was joking.

It just made me laugh that HIAG said he agreed with the sentiment, not realising it was a parody <laugh>

He's just publicly told the chairman of the club to **** off and do one! The last thing he's going to do is sign another contract! It'll take all of the legendary Pulis man-management powers to even get the lad to kick another ball for the Baggies, let alone have him polish up a new ball-and-chain for the next 5 years!

You really do live in a world of make-believe, don't you, PIXIE!

Regardless of Spurs' interest, I don't think that Berahino will sign an extension with West Brom.
Allowing players to enter into the last 2 years of their contracts is a risky thing to do nowdays.

If he continues his form, then he'll either get a cheapish move in one of the next two windows or run his contract down.
If things go wrong for him on the pitch, then I doubt that the club will offer him a new one and he'll move on anyway.

I think we all know that you're the one who lives in the world of make believe Walter.

As for Berahino, his reaction was just that, a reaction. It was a classic case of why footballers shouldn't use social media. He did it a few mins after the window closed and probably instantly regretted it. Pulis will get him playing again for WBA and the Chairman may well offer him a deal : 'Sign a new contract, we'll let you go next summer and WBA will get a better deal, we'll cut you a percentage of the transfer fee'

There are a myriad of ways the club can get him onside again. The last thing that's going to happen is that he'll go on strike, be in breach of his contract and potentially wreck his career.

Yeah, a player slags off his chairman for stitching him up and he's then going to sign a deal to tie himself to that chairman for longer on a promise? <doh>

The club hold the power whilst he's under contract. It depends on what happens over the next few months , he might settle down and stay with WBA. I suspect though if he continues to improve then one of the big clubs will come in for him.

The club don't hold any power, as far as I can see it. What are they going to do? Fire him?

I don't think that he'll actually go on strike and his tweet is vague enough for him to claim that it was misunderstood.
I do think that Peace has severely pissed him off and perhaps even pissed off Pulis, though.
Strange situation when the manager appears to have a dig at the chairman over keeping a big player at the club.

He won't go on strike as it will be totally counter productive for him. As far as it seems he's not fallen out with Pulis, so he'll probably get him playing again. His rant was at the Chairman, but it was a classic angry reaction made in the heat of the moment. I wouldn't be surprised to hear Pulis come out in the next couple of weeks and tell everybody that he's apologised and will give 100% to WBA.

Can't disagree with that. I expect that the fans will give him serious grief, though. His previous behaviour has already upset many of them.

The fans will react negatively to him initially, but once he starts scoring for them again, it will all be glossed over.

Maybe he could meet up with David de Gea on matchdays and play tiddlywinks or something. Not that Utd and WBA ever play at the same time.

That's if he does start scoring again. He might struggle to get a start, if Rondon continues to score, now that he's opened his account.
I wonder how De Gea feels right now? Stitched up or totally in on it?

Berahino's days at WBA are numbered. The bond is broken, he will probably go in Jan.

No way Pulis, or anybody else is going to fix that.
