    Is anybody bothered?

San Marino away, at the Stadio Olimpico - no not that one, they have their own with a capacity of under 7,000.

Rooney will start, he doesn't deserve to on domestic form. Sterling will start despite being absolutely awful. What about the rest?

    ----------------Hart-----------------

**** it.. boring thread, who actually gives a ****?

Hodgson for christ's sake...Can't we just shoot him?

Lawro says: load of old bollocks.

It will be about Rooney and him beating Bobby Charlton's scoring record and most appearances, which is historical, in fact if Bobby Charlton was picked he would score against San marino !

Awful uninspiring pack of mountain goats, I hate them, Hodgson is the worst of the lot.

Then you need a joint mortgage stretching over 35 years just to buy one England shirt <doh>

Got to be the worst time ever to be an England fan, sh1t manager, sh1t players and 90% of the population couldn't give a toss, primadona footballers never known the national sport to be so poor, we all know when we qualify for the finals the player's won't turn up, especially Rooney. Guess I won't be watching the matches this week.

    Couldn't give a **** either.

Only time I'll be interested in England is when someone from SAFC is in with a shout of getting on the pitch.

    So I'll be waiting a while :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Absolutely ****ed from top to bottom, awful set up, awful people in charge, team full of dick heads.

Fans continue to just blame Rooney, because it's the easy way out.

I just wonder how everybody would react if we actually surprised everyone and went on to win a tournament.

Like your optimism Juan, as for Rooney he set's himself up for a fall, record scorer etc. I know you lot love him but seriously his current form would suggest he wouldn't get selected, as if that's going to happen, just can't get excited by the national side but I'll get over it.

He doesn't set himself up for a fall though, the public do that for him. He doesn't start off by saying he's gonna score 50 goals, he just so happens to be the top scorer for England at the minute. Even when he does perform he still gets the blame, instead of blaming ****e like Sturridge and Sterling and that ****ing chump Hodgson. Blame Rooney, because he's never won the world cup on his own, ****ing hell even Messi hasn't done that and he's blessed with a team of world class players around him.

His current form is **** domestically, I agree he shouldn't start on merit, I'd prefer him to retire (I think he will after next summer) from that shower of **** so somebody else can foot the blame for their failures.

    The squad is woeful.

We do have a potentially good team in 2 years time though

    Walker <doh> <doh> <doh>

One of the worst full backs in the league.

Cripple, One Season wonder and mummy's boy up front, **** me, wake me up when that lot have retired.

Edit: For the record, I rate Harry Kane... I just refuse to get excited about him for England.
