He did look ever increasingly like a wum. I've removed the reference to fairies, I image it does indeed get tiresome.
aarghh 2 points of note 1. we've been labelled 'Hull City Tigers' on this forum - cheers Paps Allam! 2. "I didn't realise Hull haven't beaten us at home since the 60's!" says one poster.. Mmmm
You know, personally I like Hull, salt of the earth type people, had a girlfriend from there once, loved going up to the city. But seriously, it is such a thoughtless response to come out with the 'gay' thing, can't you be more constructive? I love a bit of banter, but the world and its dog call us all gay and it really is yesterdays news to Brighton fans. As for Sept 12, really looking forward to seeing you down at our place. Great to see Hull in the top two divisions regularly. I went to a Hull v Swansea game at Boothferry in 1999, 2-0 to the Tigers if I remember rightly. It was a Div 4 game, how times have changed. I wish you guys all the best this season, except for the two dates we have with each other this season.
Who's calling you gay? There isn't a jot of homophobia on this fine thread. However, have to disagree that it's yesterdays news. It still makes me snigger every time.
Incidentally, Leroy played as right midfield in a 4-4-2 against Ipswich. We realised their danger and wanted a more defensive player out there. He actually played really well.
As I said, I have nothing against banter, and at the end of the day, every forum/village needs one, so fill yer boots Mr Hat, I still look forward to seeing you in Brighton
If you're down in Brighton let me know, I'll take you to all the gay pubs in town, you'll have a ball (or two).
Ah a bit of local knowledge always helps.. since I live in France, Brighton is about the closest away game for me!
