Actually I know a few spurs fans that are pretty embarrassed by their club and its fans at times so there are some normal ones out there ...
Here's what Spuds fans think about Levy....Oh dear!.. Daniel Levy by Don_tottenham (U3372) 1 September 2015 COMMENT ON THIS ARTICLE "I'm not sure how any Spurs fan can be happy with this situation right now? No one can sit there and bull*** me by saying spurs have got enough options upfront to compliment Kane because Spurs wouldn't be putting in these last minute bids for Berahino if we weren't in desperate need for a striker. Which then leads me to believe that Levy all along knew West brom wouldn't accept. He knew all along these last minute bids were a ploy to show the media and the spurs supporters that he "tried" ...it's like Moutinho, it's like Musachio, it's like Schneiderlin... no doubt in my mind Daniel Levy is pulling the wool over the spurs supporters eyes and has been for years. Me and a few other supporters on here figured out this bald c*** years ago hence our negative stance on him in regards to our transfer policy. What Levy does in the background in regards to the stadium etc I applaud but that's where it stops!!! stay the f*** in the background Levy and do the internal stuff at spurs like you do but lay the f*** off the transfers you useless c****!!! We have been down this route year after year with the same mistakes being made year after year. If you wanted Berahino which clearly we did then why wait for the last 2 weeks of the window to make your move? Surely as a number 1 target you go in early so if any complications arise you have enough time to get the deal sorted instead of frantically trying bids with 2 hours to go Son and Njie are 2 exciting signings but they are not "strikers". If Harry Kane get's injured who the hell do we replace him with? Adebayor? What an utter shambles from top to bottom!!! The fact that the Spurs website changed Hueng min Son's profile online from midfielder to striker speaks volumes despite them denying it. They knew damn well spurs were not going to sign another striker and so did the fans who know how our w**** of a chairman operates. The pathetic "levyd" noise we get from a certain section of our supporters have nothing to say now. Your bald hero has been properly "leavyd" by a guy who wasn't going to take his s**** and I await to see what excuses you have when Harry Kane get's injured and we are left with no striker......not to mention another superb bit of news with Adebayor still lingering around the club like a bad smell to dare is to do???? f*** off!!!!!"
Can't disagree with the Spuds Rant, shame Levy's actions have so much collateral damage and this is why the FA should "have a word" as he has left two players (& clubs) completely destabilised by his actions
Jealousy......? Man you've got to be joking.................You must be an oddity HIAG. I have spoken to close to 30 Spurs fans and all are embarrassed by your clubs tactics and in particular of your Chairman. Spurs used to have a first class reputation but their antics over the last few seasons has been severely Tarnished with the way they have treated their managers and their dealings in the transfer market. For numerous years teams have been bullied by the likes of Spurs and occasionally Liverpool but trust me not any longer. Yes you will still get transfers but you will have to pay the market value plus. Continue your antics as you have with WBA and others, could cause you even more trouble than you are already in with the FA. Who are already in receipt of numerous complaints including from teams abroad as to your tactics and are currently making enquiries. I cannot think of any fans in the UK that are likely to be Jealous of Spurs fans, just Sympathy somewhat!
I'm not jealous of any other club. I love Saints so much that I regard all other fans as poor unfortunates who have drawn the short straw in life. Deluded...yes, jealous..no
If Spurs would just accept their natural inferiority, there would be no need for jealousy, would there? Just give it a try, it'll set you free.
I have nothing against Spurs supporters. Every club has wums as well so can't blame them for that. But I do dislike Levy, the way he unsettles players then bids stupidly low thinking the other club will accept. It is a bit weird that Morgan, Wanyama and Berinho all subject of bids from Spurs and all acted badly when not allowed to leave. It's almost if they have been told to kick off.
TBH most Spurs fans on the forums seem to agree with you. They'd rather Levy stopped trying to be 'clever', attempting to sign players super cheap, and just do his job which is to get deals done. I'd never wish harm to a player of any team but if Kane gets a knock in the England game they're left with 'he'll never play for Spurs again' Adebayor.
I liked this thread and do . Just one thing though in the case of Wanyama , wonder who started it ? Levy or the Agent , it's ok to blame levy , but surely he cannot be to blame each time ?
The FA/Premier League should really be asking themselves why Berahino in particular behaved as he did. If WBA were approached about his availability and they rebuffed said approach, how does the player get in a strop unless he's already been approached himself by the suitor? You can't get a clearer case of tapping up. Points deduction I say! EDIT: Before it's pointed out, obviously I'm aware that this kind of thing goes on all the time but it's a bit like shirt-pulling and holding in the box isn't it. It's pointless having rules in the game if you're never going to enforce them.
It is a strange fact that on most of Spurs deals the media is involved mostly before even the target club and player are involved. It is not the first time they have been involved with so called shady dealings and have been warned before. It can be no coincidence that the media know before the club. Where as most other club's dealings and enquiries are done on the quiet and it's later that the Journo's get wind of it. It cannot aways be the agent as we would have a lot more issues of this type of shenanigans although plainly at times it is them. Once it has been made public it is natural the journo's also want in, thats what sells their news papers after all and where they get their money from.
Statement from Levy and Pochettino: http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/news/window-wrap-summer-2015-020915/
The following quote seems "less than economic with the truth": "Thirdly, we never make anything public, particularly in the best interests of the players involved. Making aspects such as transfer requests public is wholly disrespectful to a player." Small observation.. sums up Spuds.
