I'm worried Brighton will sign Zamora.. he's done us a couple of times for the Seagulls in the lower divisions
Though we are 2nd we aren't playing particularly well and our chances of mounting a sustained challenge will depend largely on what happens today in terms of the players we could lose. Hopefully most of the squad will remain intact and we will come away from the Amex with a creditable 1 - 1 draw,

Bruce's tactics may have found their level because of how he was found out at times in the top tier. With the players we were ransacked with injuries last season, for instance Diame is still not yet fully fit and Snodgrass has been out for a year. Someone on the Brighton board was rejoicing they didn't have to face Jelavic, even though he hasn't really been a great goal threat and has been injury plagued.

Let's have a look at those again:: * A polite prediction of a 1-0 win for us. * A polite prediction of a good game that admits "you are playing better than us". * An observation that we haven't won down there in decades. * Someone saying they'd take a point. * Chazz (who does the match day threads on here) pointing out that this wasn't a match day thread. Clearly tongue in cheek. * Seven posts discussing where Rosenior played on Saturday, which included an attempt to involve you in the discussion. * A pessimistic post claiming we'd lose half our side before the transfer deadline (we didn't). Considering the tribal nature of football fans, this was a remarkably balanced overall response! Where on earth did you get a superiority complex from? I'm genuinely interested. As for any subsequent piss-taking, that's all on you for your complaint yesterday morning.
To the guy from Brighton who is offended at our superiority complex. I think you're making things up because there is nothing in this thread that suggests we think we are going to win nor is there any arrogance. The only thing I can suggest is that because we are a relegated team, you have decided to take the position of an underdog. That's your negative attitude rather than our arrogant attitude. Personally I think that come the end of the season, Brighton will have fallen off the pace and dropped down to just above mid table. Similar to how Forrest did last year. And before you get your britches in a twist. I aren't saying we will remain the course either. If anything. You are a bogey team of ours and we usually play awfully against you.
