If i was an Arsenal supporter i wouldn't be happy like! The only club in top european leagues not to buy an out field player this window...
That link seems dead, CFC (unless it's just me). Nonetheless, it's going to be a tough season for Wenger. If Arsenal remain toothless in the title-challenge, which most of us neutrals are expecting to be the case, there is going to be mounting pressure for the old duffer to leave AFC to someone with more ambition and talent. Dark days ahead for AFC and the Gooners, I feel.
PIXIE's going around the site screaming "failed wum!" at me, like a demented Dalek, all because I quoted something that the head of the Arsenal Supporters' Trust said, about Wenger being a tosser! He, and other deluded Gooners, are in hyper-denial over this hot-potato issue.
I'm disgusted with the club right now, very frustrating times. The Wenger lovers though, as usual will just stick to their excuses for him, it's not about the club for them, but just about him. Every year they're like 'next year we can properly judge' and then when it's the same story, they just continue their blind faith.

To be fair I wanted him gone before now, everything he has done has justified that opinion as well. He should have left the club after he won the cup VS Hull 2 years back. If you want a coach who can get you top 4, some nice football, and the odd cup here and there, then Wenger is your man. He's not a rubbish coach, he is a very good coach, and at one point was one of the best, but those days are gone, if you want to go places like win leagues and european titles, then he definitely is not your man for that. So you have 2 sets of fans, the realistic ones not clinging to the past and the cult status of Wenger who think he no longer has it, which is backed by the facts, and the blind faith Wenger knows best no matter what fans, who have become satisfied with simply getting top 4, the irony is that these same fans then try to call Arsenal elite. If it were up to me I'd have Wenger and his blind fans gone together, both together are a negative for this club at the moment.
The thing about the deluded Wenger lovers is they can't even stick to their own criteria, some Arsenal fans on this board who shall not be named have said that once money was available and we were no longer restricted financially, that then we could properly judge Wenger and the club, so yeah erm it's been around 3 years now that we have had money, and still no changes, and yet these fans still don't want to properly judge Wenger and stick to their own criteria lol. Instead, it's always next year, let's give Wenger another go. Their like a drug addict who keep saying it's ok I promise I will quit, let me just have one more fix, and then another, and another, and another, and another, and another...... As I said, Wenger needs to go and take his blind supporters with him.
The irony is that if it wasn't for Wenger you would never have jumped on the Arsenal bandwagon. Ironic and also very funny!
Actually I started supporting Arsenal before any Wenger or the success that was brought in because of him, so try harder next time rather than the usual same stupid cliche responses.
