It's Chelsea's transfer strategy. They can't develop a young player to save their lives, so they sign up all the other youngsters, pay them a bomb and loan them to the wrong club just to make sure no one else gets to develop any players. That, and Mourinho's strategy for keeping Spurs and Liverpool out of the top four seems to be to buy any decent player they might be interested in and ruin them in the way only Mourinho can.
