That was after he said he did not want to play, before that he would have had the same chance as the rest of the players, all he had to do was to report back to training like monk was expecting.........Monk had to do what is best and omit michu from his plans...
The point is this! If he is still fit and such a top goal scorer then why has no club in Europe seriously come in for him? Something is definitely not right here and you will not get it from the club or Michu, not even his mate at RV want him ?
The reason why there is animosity towards Michu is because there is obviously an attitude problem on his behalf. I can't imagine that the club would omit Michu without justification it would be nonsensical. TBH the whole saga is nonsensical IMO because the win win scenario would be to keep face, get Michu training with the squad and put it out there he's available. If he is fit I can't imagine not being able to offload a player of his quality. But as it stands he's obviously too petulant to even be around the squad. Even if he is injured the swans look after their own, F bodde is a perfect example of this. Plus with the fact he's on 40k PW!!!!!!! He can **** off as far as I'm concerned!!!!!!! Thanks for the memories but just grow up & **** off now you leach!
How can you call him a leach? He and the club signed a contract, it works both ways, it protects the player and the club, if there is a breakdown in the relationship then we must work in the framework of what has been signed. And as for how much he is on, that is what the club agreed to pay him, I would say for the type of player he is that is quite cheap in the premier league. I remember some of the comments from people on this board about Ferrie, I also remember him refusing treatment here and going to Holland with doctors there , how quickly people forget this!!
I call him a leach because he's happy to receive his wage but without showing enough professionalism or even decency to even be allowed to train with the squad. I've got no problem with him signing an extended contract because at the time he more than deserved it but since monk took over he's acted like a spoiled petulant child (you could see that the first game for monk). Your not going to change my mind on this especially after all the hard work & family sacrifice I needed to invest into my profession to earn in a year what he earns in a week! (I'm not saying I'm special It's what most men do who support a family) With bodde at least he wanted to play for us and the club was happy to support him during his recovery and I won't begrudge him that. I understand why he might have wanted to try other doctors especially if things over here wasn't working. I can imagine being extremely frustrated seeing your team make it to the big time and not being able to get over an injury. Plus 40k PW is a lot of money to Swansea if it wasn't then we would just end the saga and pay him out and terminate his contract wouldn't we.
Lots of speculation and innuendo in your post, you simply have no idea what has gone on between the club and him, and you have no idea why this situation is ongoing. I don't speculate anything beyond that I don't know why this is happening. Bodde wanted to play for us yes, but he absolutely refused treatment here, and 3 times he went to Holland for treatment each time is knee went, he was happy enough to draw wages from us then! £40k a week is a lot of money, to put into context, the Swans turnover for that same week is well over £2m, Bodde wages was I believe was probably a quarter of that, on turnover considerably less. As for changing your mind, that is up to you not me, but if you were presented with the facts would you still be as closed minded if you found out that this is not entirely his fault?
I can assure you that I'm not closed minded and there is no other logical explanation. There has been rumours that he has mental health issues and if that's the case then I feel for the guy. The way I look at it is that Michu is a Swansea City asset and is for sale. To attract interest from buyers he has to look attractive as possible. With the current situation he's most probably the least attractive player for any club ATM. A injury prone player who for whatever reason can't even train with the club he's currently signed for. Yes it's all speculation but what logical reason is there with the facts we do know?
I was told that he had 'Asperger syndrome' ? Asperger syndrome is mostly a 'hidden disability'. This means that you can't tell that someone has the condition from their outward appearance. People with the condition have difficulties in three main areas: social communication social interaction social imagination While there are similarities with autism, people with Asperger syndrome have fewer problems with speaking and are often of above average intelligence. It has to be said regarding this, and this is my own personal observation, that people with this condition find it hard to keep friends or make them, are some what loners, and do not interact socially very well. if it is true he has this condition then it would explain a great deal regarding Michu, also most who have 'Asperger syndrome' also have 'ADHD', still I hope we get him off the books, it's a big shame but it's very difficult to deal with such people....................
With regards to the claim that there are mental health issues involved here, surely the club would want to be seen as doing everything they can to help Michu ? If it turns out to be the case, the club could be in for a whole lot of bad press if seen as anything other than 100% helpful towards Michu. For this reason, I doubt it to be the reason for this falling out.
If that's the case then it's such a shame but you would like to think that the club would support a player with mental health issues the same as they treat a physical injury
The problem is simple...It's his £40k per week that is putting clubs off. Top clubs wont entertain him anyway so he is looking for clubs at our level and below and spanish clubs cant pay half that, celtic cant afford that and even west ham wont risk £40k a week on him and that is the reason he and us cant find him a club.....He wont budge or compromise but in 3 days time he will lose his chance and will have no choice but to return and see where we go from there. We dont want to loan him out as we would rather get rid but as it is we are stuck with him and he is stuck with us....
Michu has been told to sort out his own future, he won't be allowed back on the training field with the first team squad. Swansea are prepared to let his contract run down, in fact this is the most probable outcome now.
