I only tend to see highlights, but again, he doesn't stand out. He doesn't grab a game by the scruff of the neck and control it, the way exceptional midfielders do. I just seem to notice that whenever Arsenal are under the cosh, he seems inconspicuous.
And yet, if Woe-zil had been part of QPR's squad, last season, they still would have been relegated. I think, given the choice, most sensible neutral fans would choose Kane over Woe-zil, every day of the week. That's gotta hurt, PIXIE?
I don't know of any fan, outside of the wumsters on this site, who genuinely believe that Spurs fans are "deluded." Whilst I know of plenty of fellow Spurs fans who, like me, are continually frustrated by the fact that we don't seem to be able to get things right to secure 4th spot more often, I don't know of any Spurs fan who expects us to finish any higher than fifth or sixth, in any given season. On the other hand, I meet plenty of Gooners who genuinely believe that Arsenal can challenge for the title! I won't mention Mousers, as that would be too obvious. Even red Mancs are beginning to get delusions of grandeur, believing that they remain a force in the Prem. It's laughable!
My circumstances, over the past few years, have made it extremely difficult to get to see Spurs on anything other than a sporadic basis, but I have watched them play on numerous occasions, in the past, including many European Cup nights, and a couple of trips to Wembley. A couple of my family members have season tickets. Indeed, my eldest son has been taken to the Lane by said family members a few times, in recent seasons. I bet there are plenty of people who post regularly on this site who have never watched the team that they purport to support play live.
As has already been put (thanks S.D.) I'm not a Gooner, so why would I watch all your games? From what I've seen, Ozil does nothing to particularly impress me. I repeat, I don't think he's a bad player, just nothing exceptional.
I do when they are on the telly and I have even been to see them live ! I have even been to see Spurs in a FA Cup final in 1986 ! i have family and friends who are Spurs fans, and family and friends who are Arsenal fans, and a family member who follows Leeds. I also have mates that support Man United, Chelsea, West Ham, and Aston Villa (he doesn't know why either!). so I get to watch lots of games with other teams playing (it's healthy to do as you get perspective) and have done so for many years. i will watch a good game irrelevant of who is playing! Not many posters will admit to that
Two of my best mates from The City are Gooners. There's a bit of piss taking when we get together for a drink, but it's only football at the end of the day.
You and Rooney might have a penchant for the blue rinse ladies down the W.I. but most of us on here prefer Claudia Schiffer mate.
she's a decade older than when she was my neighbour, judging from her then she's probably a borderline blue-rinser by now.
You boys can laugh all you like, but facts are facts. Of course, it's been a while since I put all my ratting behind me. Not that the ladies make it easy for me, especially on gig nights.
On that we can agree. I know it's 15-20 years ago, but I'd have crawled over broken glass for a chance to **** her! I can't imagine she's suddenly turned into a minger...hope not anyway
