Nor sure this is a good move for us but definitely a good move for him. Will this mean an U21 will take up our 4th winger berth? If so, who?

The only way it's a bad move for us is if we get injuries because Dyer today is not the Dyer of old. Instrumental in our promotion season and has stepped up since but can hardly beat an egg these days and this has been going on for a while.

Didn't see that coming and why are we loaning a player who we could have got a fee for earlier in the summer. Makes absolutely no sense and leave us tight out wide.

Dyer has asked for the loan I think, and probably very recently.

But loaning him to a club who will be (looking at their early form) battling with us for a top 10.

Yeah really bizarre one...I presume he won't be able to play against us, but even so, could help them in the table...

I'm guessing the wages will be fully paid for by them, so that's not nothing...still....confused.

Montero injury prone, Routledge injured last season, Ayew not really a winger, Barrow on loan at Blackburn, Gorre on loan at Den Haag, we are becoming very light on the wings.

Think about this - does anyone honestly think Monk would have let him go if he though we needed him? Me neither.

But we are vulnerable to injuries in that position so my guess is we are able to recall Dyer or other loanees should the need arise.

Tabanou can play further forward , perhaps not as fast as Dyer and with Routledge's ability to play either right or left side maybe this could work out well in giving Tabanou a chance to show his worth .As we know injuries can happen anytime so with Montero, Routledge ,Emnes, Tabanou and maybe Holliett on loan from QPR this may not be a worrying as first seen.

Did you really mean Emnes. On SSN no recall clause in Dyers move also stated not in for Hoillet.

No tabanou has played both left back and left wing at his previous club. As I stated on another post you cannot recall from another prem club unless it is like Ki when he went to Sunderland up to January with an option to extend

Happy for Dyer, hope it works out for him and he gets the games and what he wants from this loan. May not be the Dyer of old but his contribution in helping to get us this far can't be overlooked or forgotten. He played an integral part in our rise to the top and I hope we do right by him.

Thanks Nathan, good luck and see you on the other side of the season <ok>

That's no attitude! Enjoy being able to dream of scaling the dizzying heights... while you are top half, 'cos there's more than enough opportunity to be pessimistic (or even realistic) on the way back down the table. If you do slide down that is.

I love being overly optimistic, especially at the moment

My optimism is that we aren't going to finish in the bottom 3 this year, so more optimism than last year <ok>

This is a sideways move akin to Ki to Sunderland , I am really sad that he's going as he still has something to give to us. I feel that if it go through we will never see him in a swans strip again

Fantastic bit of business by monk.. Dyer gets to play in the premiership (except against us) and he dont fester away with the odd game here and there. Monk would not let him go out on loan if it left us short.......he knows what he is doing and i agree it's a good move.....
