Mafia XI - An Unknown Evil -GAMEOVER Town/Anarchist Victory!

Ok. first thoughts are that we all have probably made various wrong calls on day one - and also that the unknown aspect of the game has been set up to encourage this to happen.There are a couple of people I was getting evil reads on yesterday that I am not anywhere near as sure of now. There is also at least one person I had a very strong town read on yesterday who I am now thinking is showing quite a strong evil read.

The one strongest thing still shouting out to everyone is the Gerrez/AFC situation. When I read back last night through he whole thread it looked even more like their story evolved as the accusations and voting situation evolved. Gerrez has addressed this as self-defence, though I think it would have been beneficial for our understanding of the game - either for good or bad - if one of them had died last night.

There are also some people looking to push us very clearly in other directions than addressing what seems to be the most obvious issue. Does that mean they are working for evil and distracting us, or is it that they have a strong read? There is also someone who has made a factual mistake on this page (I think - will need to read back and double check )when throwing accusations on this page. Is this a mistake or an attempt to influence us by making someone's actions seem even worse than they were? The problem is that the person they have accused is someone I have down as possibly evil so this is confusing me - and is why I am not mentioning names until I have gone back and checked.

I think that ACS was almost certainly killed by a good guy.- Holy Golden Arrow
ACS gave off almost no reads other than the lack of them when he was posting elsewhere and for long periods was not even posting his usual random stuff on here.
I can't read a connection with anyone else on ACS during yesterday's posts.

I think that JPF was giving off quite a few non-innocent reads and seemed to be trying to throw out information as facts about the medium and the evil guys which non of us could know for certain without inside knowledge - such as the medium not being able to be killed, evil being able to flip votes, who the likely mediums are, etc.

JPF was very keen for the medium to out themselves.

JPF's killing seems less likely to be the work of the innocents from the description (though not certain). I am confused why he would be targeted in that situation, since the things he was trying to achieve would help another evil team too. However, its possible that they just recognised a rival through his actions and took him out.

I didn't get a strong read on anyone JPF was working with. He seemed very keen to take votes away from AFC and Gerrez and towards Obi. Not sure why this was. The only other suggestion I had was that there may have been a link between JPF and Astro. That was something that I felt reading back last night but I didn't note down why I thought that as I was reading back so it might well be nothing. It was more of a gut feeling.

The Gerrez and AFc thing is still massively suspicious to me. I agree with most of what you say, but probably think there is a stronger chance than you that they could both be evil.

 

He's walking around and talking. That's all I can basically say. There is no obvious smell of decay... (none new anyway ) He isn't saying.... "BRAAAAAAIIIIIIIINS" either. He appears to be a normal human being from all you can tell.



Yes, he can vote. Yes, you are allowed to vote for him.

 

If he voted, I missed it. I will go back and look for it once I've caught up.

 

I don't know who to trust either. Like I said, some of my initial thoughts have turned full circle (both town and evil). One of the biggest difficulties is that nobody apart from the medium seems to have any sort of idea what evil we are dealing with. I think we can be fairly confident that the evil teams know who their team mates are while we don't even have a clue how many teams there are!!

 

Ok, caught up dudes.

First I'll be clear about why I didn't change my vote last night. I was at the pub. But I'd already said earlier in the day I would die and take one for the town if that was needed and left myself leading the votes when I could of affected it. If you want to try and kill me today again then go for it, but your making a mistake.

Myself and gerrez are not worth pursuing, we are only a danger to each other and actually are basically two known town to the medium and to anyone clever enough to investigate one of us last night.

@Tennisball - you've got this more wrong than you did in the last game and that takes some doing

Ok, I've been back and double checked.

You claim here that Lucaas put you out on tree votes when it was actually two. I am not sure this is a mistake you would make, especially as MITo specifically asked you why the two Liverpool lads voted for you. Is this an attempt to try and push us to see more evidence than there actually is against someone you want to target? Or was it a genuine mistake? Seems an unusual one if so.

The other side of that coin is that Lucaas is someone I am also wary of. This makes it more confusing. Or it could be that you recognise an evil rival?

You were also one of the people who was strongest in arguing against voting for either Gerrez or AFC. You also said you couldn't see anything suspicious when even they have said they knew it was suspicious and that even they thought it was obvious to spot.

I had a very strong town read on you for most of yesterday. I am less sure now. Not saying you're definitely evil, but there are questions in my head I'd like answers to.

OK cheers Milk. So ACS is likd any other active player. But we don't know which team he's on. I still think it unlikely he would be switched to town role from an evil role, especially if hd had a vital sounding role of shaman, would surely make the game imbalanced bearing in mind we also killed off thd head of an evil cult. So I still suspect ACS as evil.

Towards the end of the day he seemed very strong in trying to persuade people to vote for Obi. As you had the most vots at the time I saw/se this as taking votes off you. He did keep saying you were guilty as sin, but then was instructing people to vote Obi.

 

This dude is speaking sense. Not often AFC and I agree or work together. If we were evil then we've played a worse game than Valley

He actually argued against voting for me because he knows how I play the game and he knows I wouldn't be so bloody obvious if I was an evil. He asked me whether he should vote AFC or No lynch, I told him to do the latter.
