Sorry to say United fans, as frustrating as it has been to be an Arsenal fan in the last decade, it still never got bad as your case, we never dropped out of the top 4 like you lot did. And we sure as heck didn't spend **** loads of money like you lot on many players who turned out to be flops or not really taking you where you want to go.

The whole thing has been a shambles, why has it taken so long for Navas to be included in the deal, did you guys really think you had a chance with Ramos?

Face it fella, Ed Woodward is a clueless numpty, I guess in some ways the abences of David Gill is being felt as much the absence of Fergie. The whole De Gea thing has been a farce, and there is no way it would have got to this point under Fergie and Gill?

Over paid for most of those and Romero is ****e. Our negotiating team can't do anything when we have a manager who has all the power and does not want to spend the money, but our team is nothing to shout about either, we have not really replace David Dein, who managed to get **** done.

It's funny because you've spent all this money on all these players and you still don't look like you're going to compete on the domestic or European front this season. The Dutch Harry Redknapp is doing a fantastic job!

We paid what it took to get the players, how is that over paying?
You want a player you have to pay the price as Madrid have just discovered.

And have an out of shape Rooney leading the line, there transfers have been worse than ours. Third place is safe.

Manchester United slammed over mouse infestation at Old Trafford

Trafford council inspectors say the world's biggest football club have failed to tackle their rodent problem.
Manchester United has come under fire from inspectors for failing to get to grips with mice infestations at Old Trafford.

Trafford council inspectors have accused the club of failing to take measures to prevent pests scurrying into the stadium’s kitchens.

Old Trafford has had long-running issues with mice, with the Reds previously having had to call in pest control contractors to sort out rodents in the North and South stands.

Mice have even previously been spotted scurrying across the hallowed turf at the Theatre of Dreams.

But in a new report, hygiene inspectors from Trafford Council found the club was ‘failing to implement’ proper measures to control pests within its kitchens.

The report states: “You are failing to implement adequate procedures to control pests within the food areas. It is suggested that we arrange a meeting to discuss these requirements and the way forward.

“The drain in the middle of the... back of the Red Cafe kitchen is not adequately covered to prevent pests gaining access to the kitchen via the drain.

“All food rooms should be inspected for possible pest entry points.”

A mouse was seen scampering across the pitch during United’s home win over West Ham in 2010.

Four years previously, Conference minnows Burton Albion complained a number of rodents were on the turf during an FA Cup tie at Old Trafford.

After the game, defender Ryan Austin said: “Every time I looked down, I saw a mouse. There were loads of them.”

A report last year told United staff to “continue to act on the recommendations of the pest-control contractor in connection with the mice activity.”

The latest report - obtained through freedom of information laws - shows the club was also warned over storing raw meat next to cooked meat and bread rolls in the stadium’s fridges.

What a sh1t hole, no wonder they struggle to attract anyone there. Theatre of Dreams? More like the Theatre of Rats, starring none other than Ryan Giggs, as the rat leader.

City have spent lots of money, but look like a top team. You have spent lots of money and look no better than last season. The fact that hoofing the ball up to Fellaini is still one of your plans after spending hundreds of millions on attacking talent is just embarrassing.

Not sure what point you're arguing, its pretty clear on the Utd board your own fans have no faith in Van Der Gaal ever challenging for the league

Ah now that's a different thing. I really don't think he will with the football he has us playing but, the players he has brought to the club should mean the next man has a very good chance <ok>

Why did you need LVG to do that though?

If he manages to get rid of all the expensive deadwood and players who don't fit into the system, and if he's allowed to spend anywhere near as much as LVG to sort the side out then Yes, it is a good plan...
