It's my only explanation. Only AFC and I are involved in the side game and Milk confirmed to me (after I jumped on Obi for saying Mondo) that the Medium didn't know the four words. He told the medium that the surfers would stand out; AFC & I regularly using those four words was always going to stand out and obviously did since it got picked up on. Equally, if I'd stayed quiet or immediately announced what we had to do I'd have been under the radar too #allaboutgreez

Not a very in-depth rebuttal, seems like a pretty cheap and easy deflection to me. Think a town would try and engage with the points whilst a mafia would know they can't and either just back down and agree or try and make an easy and obvious accusation.

JPF was High Priest (Probably Don)
JPF said to vote Obi, who was under questioning (though thought by some as the medium? Helluva mafa motive.) without providing any justification.
IBWT, who didn't seem to be on Obi much before, though I only scanned so apologies if he was, quickly votes Obi with no explanation.

JPF dies, KP reveals him as priest and links him with Assassin.
Assassin tries to kill Lucaas, fails by protective role (Which would make him want to kill Lucaaas more but would make him hesitant to try again in case it failed again)

IBWT tries to get Lucaaas lynched, as the mafia would probably try amongst the confusion.
When given reasons why Lucaaas likely isn't evil, instead of acknowledging them and agreeing/challenging them he just deflects.

Enough reasons to be suspicious to me.

Agreed it sounds like one or the other, but from the wording of the mysterious 'Holy Golden Arrow' wielder it very much sounds like a good role and therefor Vigi.

Do you get anything if the other dies? Surely from a selfless point of view one of you should do miss it three times allow the other to report you so you die and the other lives and can help the town (especially f you get this mystery bonus you mentioned unless that's a pack of lies as well)

 

They are taught a 'double tap' in that they need to pop two rounds in to make sure of death.
Usually the second is the head shot to obliterate their brains.

My reason to switch to obi was because I didn't want teither gerrez or afc to die after what was being said, obi was the only one close enough to be an alternative. I only later changed to age after erred said he was evil and FAC said they were both innocent which looked dodgy.

Lucas put me out in front on 3 votes by about 10am yesterday after magic had already voted for me. Was no logic behind it and when wuestioned failed to even answer my questioning hence me originally being suspicious of him. I voted him yesterday but it got lost amongst all the afc gerrez thing.... Voted for him today and you're the first to see and jump on it.

 

So what you're saying is no-one had more motive to try and have him killed than you?

What do you have to say on my points about how unlikely it is Lucaaas and a Bodyguard are evil? And the fact that after this was laid out to you you just accused me of being Bodyguard, a role which I'd just pointed out as likely innocent and also a prime mafia target, don't see why it would be in town's interest to try and out that person. Thankfully I'm not him though.

1. My thoughts on JPF are as follows:

He started throwing muck about, I saw my name in there and certainly wasn’t best pleased and I even posted I am not the medium. He was calling me, Neville, luccaaas, gerrez and obi all out at various times. Honestly I was thinking this is a loose cannon here, I’m not getting in a fight here on day one and avoided. Clearly a few pegged him day one by this actions.I felt he was on one. He certainly went after obi most


The bit about flipping investigations is a good one. I don’t know but what it says is we should be following the same advice as he actually gave. Don’t say investigate x or y. since the AFC game that is kind of obvious though. As of now unless a detective has just followed some obvious route that was called out I don’t think there was a really clear line of advice who to investigate so we should pock this for future no? Lets let the detective do what he has to do and turn up if/when real info is to hand.


Not sure I agree on the “can’t be on same team” bit. I’m open on everything right now. He was up to something.


2. AFC thoughts:

I think he certainly arrived and commented and voted immediately for gerrez.

The thing I found most suspect early if what he said right after realizing he might have blown himself. He basically accuses obi of being the medium. We all know the medium is the vital town role to figure out who is who. Why throw an obi is guilty like gerrez or obi is medium? I mean this is a deflection tactic here “don’t look at me look at obi.” Was this all about where did mondo come from?

I think later in the day it gets more and more so you need to look at both surfers in more detail. Don’t jump to any conclusions. Both are on my list.


I think on your scenarios: you should break them down a bit more. Its clear something is going on. One guy started it and the other continued is one of your likely ones but why? We are all missing they why.


AFC clearly came on after and got into this and carried it on. This is odd. Why gerrez was at it in the first place is also missing.

Your logic for dismissing Lucaas bodyguard appears to be solely based on the fact that you've assigned enough other 'evil' roles withoutmuch tangible evidence with which to do so.

The one real concrete peice of information i.e. the bodyguard, you've chosen to explain away as "not sounding very evil". Not sure that's a great peice of logic myself.

 

Wouldn't be that obvious to try kill someone that targeted me early, especially as by midday, had moved from me and I wasn't under any suspicion.

I said in my original post there's a chance he is good and has a bodyguard because he's an important townie.... But just as much chance he's evil Mafia don and has a bodyguard to save him as well.

In previous games when there has been a failed assassination, the target has got some info out of it (who trekked to kill them) Lucas doesn't seem to have got any info or shared with us.... Is that because a town role tries to kill him, failed and they are going to kill that person tonight?

 

We don't get anything other than a chance of winning dude.

We are both town aligned so both need and want to help the town.

Yesterday only happened because you guys stated voting for me after picking up on the surfer words.
