My next port of call is the last half hour of last night. There was a lot of shouting for no lynch. I am torn as to whether these calls were good or bad last night.

I think tobes earlier was right that we (and I) left you both off the hook and no lynch gave us no infor... however.... it might have saved a town role we just don't know.

What we do know is the killings last night were two evil guys and lucaaas info gives us some thing too. Thats clear routes to find evil.

As of now I've a list of 4 peopel out of which i'm voting for next, you are still one!

Just to explain why I jumped on yours...

I'd already used a couple of the words and dude is a fairly common one. You then said Mondo, a word that had not been used at that point. Also at that point, I wasn't aware that the Medium didn't know what words we had to say (I sought clarification afterwards and was told the medium only know the surfers wee easy to spot). with you saying Mondo, I thought you were letting me and AFC know who you were (aka I thought you were the medium at that point)

Not at all. Read my replies to you today. Haven't accused you of anything, just questioning how Gerrez and AFC jumped on our posts, so you are barking up the wrong tree.

I am trying to look back to the last hour before night even.

There are so many things going on. I think the actions of JPF stand out as we know what he was. He was hammering at Obi to be voted for and there was a couple who might regret following him. IBWT voted about 2 mins after one post which jpf just said vote obi. however he then changed aorund after that so thats a tenuous link to JPF at best.

There's some (a minority) calling for no lynch. Tennis did. the two started calling no lynch only after a couple more votes (mikey for one) came on no lynch. I think we need to look at the tables in order.

 

My actions up to that point were only dodgy because I was including one of four words. Ignore them and my posts were all in keeping with how I normally play. I only started acting differently when you all started to pile on me because I was effectively a dead man walking. **** knows why everyone changed but by then, I'd already committed to the story I'd fed you all

Seems unlikely to me, would make at least 4 or probably 5 different evil factions which even in a crazy set-up seems a stretch for me. Forgive me if I've missed anything or I repeat things already established because I'm struggling to keep up but it seems like from the KP that we can reasonably ascertain there is/was

Shaman of Baphomet who was either a solo role or possibly since Baphomet is the satanic goat guy the Knight's Templar were said to worship could maybe be a part of a mason-style evil duo? But think he's now mostly just a general evil satanic cult thing so might not be any deeper meaning to read into. Could possibly be part of the Cult but think it'd be weird that wasn't disclosed and he's specifically Shaman of Baphomet rather than of the Skull or whatever or even just Shaman.

Someone who shot someone three times, since we also have someone wielding a 'Holy Golden Arrow' who must surely be good and probably a Vigi kind of role, think it's not unlikely this shooter is a SK as would be weird to have two town kill roles. Though how exactly SK would win in a game that is meant to not be able to run more than 5 days may put that in question.

The Cult who seem like a thematically dressed-up mafia. High Priest as Don, recruit power that passes on upon death, Assassin obviously hitman, and then possibly a third member or not depending on how many recruits are permitted.

Then there's ACS's new role which could be a Zombie-style team with the first death becoming SZ.

So on top of all those I can't see both Lucaaas and a bodyguard being part of a evil faction, that would be probably like 8 evil players+recruit powers. There's also just the simple thing of how it's named, with all these fancy themed names, 'Bodyguard' just doesn't seem like a very evil role. Turning that around, I feel like when the Cult failed to kill him they would only want him dead even more but would know it will now be very problematic, and that possibly the safest way of doing it would be to try and use the mystery and confusion of roles to turn suspicion onto him and have him lynched with not much else to go on. I think you're a competent and confident player, and would try that play as mafia, but that a competent town would be able to see that it's more likely he's innocent, so this does make me fairly suspicious of you to be honest.

I don't believe he managed to mis-spell Monday to come up with mondo. I think he intended on putting mondo as a variation of Monday but didn't know that word had a meaning in this game.

The three shots is more in keeping with a trained assassin isn't it? Don't the army train people to shoot in bursts rather than single shots? To me, that would suggest Serial Killer or vigilante. I agree it is more likely to be the latter

whats can we see?

1. mikey and valley vote no lynch.
2,IBWT changes his mind twice. No lynch to Obi to AFC.
3. I move no lynch off gerrez
4. Neville votes AFC at same time changing it

the final table is right but there was confusion for a while.

The result is two of us (me included) switch off Gerrez and go different ways. I go no lynch, nev goes AFC.

from my point of view I thought earlier gerrez was guilty and his posts sounded so. then AFc started in. he sounded worse and worse so I thought given we didn't know what this was all about i'd retreat to safety. It would have actually been better to lynch one of them and end this but now its continued into day 2.

Tobes was right about this. It was a bad call on my part there at this point.

Nev went with his guy and went for AFC. Is that suspect? probably not really given the stuff going on. We both did it with 15mins to go and again AFC is sitting there on obi. he could have saved himself. what s the game.

 

I will look. I planned on looking at AFC posts today form start of this surfer stff but after 2 hours so far have not got that far.
