Apparently Real Madrid didn't have the latest version of adobe reader, so had to download it before they could open the De Gea paper work, this made them 20 seconds late, hence the deal falling through. I reckon the IT guys at Madrid will be getting the sack
Cor blimey what is it about Galatsaray and our players?!? They are now interested in old boy Flamini. Newcastle apparently back in for Chas Austin but its odds-on now that he stays at QPR.
Jolly good can you send Lavery down the road to us please? I have always agreed with your most knowledgeable fan that you are a big whale in a little pond.
Be interesting to see where the new regime can take us. They've already priced lots of fans out of matches (including my brother) with the new pricing structure - just over 20,000 against Boro on Saturday, which is poor by our standards. You can understand it, working folk simply can't afford 45 quid for a match ticket.
Worst thing to do at a club like Wednesday, the fans are the core of every football club, and when one has been struggling for a long period, as you have, the fans are even more integral to how the club progresses. As you say, 20k is very poor by your standards, and almost Sheff Utd-esque to boot. I guess that is the way football is going, but if you lose fans by hiking prices, how do you get them back? They won't reduce prices in a hurry!!
Oh dear, sorry, forgot about him, thought it looked a bit fishy at first though. Our cat knows him well, she prefers his Atlantic Tuna to the Pacific variety..........
Swaney old Harry is a good skin.read his biography on hols last year, had a few cracking stories bout the di canio, once refused to get on a plane cus he thought it would crash so mad his way home by other means
As a Charlton fan, I watched Chazza Austin in the opening day of the season at The Valley and it appeared then he didnt look interested to be playing for QPR in the championship. For a player who has proven himself in the prem my guess would be Palace, london club, sold Murray (and potentially Gayle) will leave them with Wickham and Bamford. Charley Austin would seem a good fit.
Chas Austin now 1/4 to remain at QPR. I am wondering if part of the problem is will he pass a vigorous medical???
Don't agree there, he always seemed very happy at the Bush to me. Don't think he has been too keen on a transfer out at all IMHO. However, still another 3-3/4 hours left though! ......and yes, he would most certainly pass a medical. Nothing wrong with Charlie's health at all.
He failed one at Hull! Chas used to play in the county and apparently the medical he had at Hull was not very good at all. Hence my earlier comments.
Hull's mistake. Charlie's a journeyman professional footballer IMO, yet the QPR site thread "Charlie Austin Stuff" has generated 34-pages to date, with 670 posts, and 24,213 views. Bloody hell, and the R's are just a Div.2 "Championship" club.
