It's never a fight with Arsenal, we always get top 4, if anyone drops out, it's not us, top 4 is something you can always count on Arsenal getting. So nope, it's a fight with you, Pool, and by the looks of things, Chelski as well.
TBH if United don't get top 4, it'd be one complete disaster with all the money you have spent in the last 2 years, and the pressure would be massive on LVG, from both fans and owners. Can easily see LVG getting the sack for someone like Guardiola, Klopp, or even Ancelotti to come in. Lot's of good managers available soon.
We have played better under Wenger than we have so far. Have you played better under LVG than you are right now?
@RobertQPRST: Reliably informed that Charlie Austin will undergo his Man Utd medical tonight. Fee around £15 million + add ons. I wish him all the best. We are favourites to sign Austin
Pretty much, yes. I don't think Chelsea will win the league and we could challenge them for 2nd (I think City will win it) because I think both teams will improve as the season progresses. I might be wrong about Utd, but to me they look disorganised and rudderless. LVG has spent £200m on the squad already and they still don't look any further ahead than when Fergie left it in a mess. There was an interesting insight into tonight's game on Radio 5 live earlier, where Monk said that when they went 0-1 down he changed tactics and every player knew what they needed to do because they had been well drilled and prepared, so that when he gave the instruction, the whole team played to their strengths and turned the game around. The difference with LVG is that when it goes wrong, he plays hoofball to Fellani ! Monk said that it was easy to defend against as you just put on another CB. To me LVG looks short on options and ideas and having spent that much money, it's got to be worrying for Utd fans ?
Lol, sorry to say United fans, but your club has well and truly lost the plot: http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/34107092 My goodness, the amounts of money United are throwing around, this just shows how desperate they have become. And to think some United fans went on about Sterling being overrated and not worth the money, but now this guy is defiantly worth 36 million eh? Doubt those same United fans will be singing the same tune now. lol.
Manu are a spent force, desperate to regain it by throwing some absurd sums of money that will still not guarantee them anything, such a disjointed team at the minute, and probable going into panic mode with us giving them their third football lesson in such a short time. You'd think that being such a big club they would have the right football philosophy well imbedded into their DNA, but sadly they have not and are looking very much like a ship without a rudder............ Swansea's rookie manager Monk showing the great and illustrious Van how it's done, three times now and he still hasn't learned.........
We have been beat by worse teams than you, even when we were winning the league regularly. There is no desperation in our buying, we are rebuilding a team that will compete for major honours on a regular basis. This rebuild should be complete by the end of van Gaal's second year. some teams call this situation "being in transition", Liverpool and Arsenal have been in it for several years now so two years to complete it will be quite an achievement.
There we are then, maybe you will give us a real good game one day soon, mind Giggs face was a picture when the second goal went in, priceless..............
Why are we wasting our time talking about manure? They won't win anything this season or anytime soon. Alex Ferguson took their soul when he left the club. Now they are a sad shell of a club...
How embrassing are Man Utd? Ever since Fergie let they have been a joke of a club, from Moyes, Falcao, Di Maria, Ed Woodward to LVG, they have been a shambles. And the latest thing with De Gea, wow. Also had players like Fabregas and Ramos making them look like right mugs by using United to get better deals elsewhere. This Martial kid is talented, but the fee is utterly bonkers and now they are left with a past it Rooney and two kids as their CF's.
