Can't argue with that. I said this earlier, but this signing reeks of convincing yourself the girl across the room at 2am looks hot.
Regarding Ramos, the only one leading anyone down the path was Ramos himself and he did it to both United and Real.
You clearly wanted him, and from what I believe tried to strike a deal. Madrid weren't budging and kept their man. Also got your keeper while they were at it The flipside is you got a great deal on De Gea, I'm not questioning that. It seems like money doesn't seem to matter anymore that's the issue, it's going bad - rapidly.
Let me be clear again. Getting rid of de gea 30m was a fantastic deal. Getting keylor navas as well is one of the deals of the century. Now i just wanted christiansmith to fess up that spending 36m on an unknown is stupid for that money irrespective of how much it improves united (which is debateable anyway). He mentioned its not about the money as long as the squad improves
They kept their man by tripling his wages. Otherwise he'd have left. The winner in all of that was Ramos, played both clubs like a fiddle.
Don't worry I get what you're saying. You're just trying to point out that all day long Christian has been banging on about it's not about the money but about improving the squad - and this keeper compared to De Gea is a down grade (irrespective of the good deal Utd just got)
Ramos may well be the winner. But the fact is he's a RM player, so they got what they wanted. Kept their player and got your keeper. They've obviously ended up paying out shed loads for both deals to happen, but it seems money isn't an issue anymore
#Monaco confirmed to Infosport #MUFC paid €80m for #Martial. Report bids rejected for Fabinho, Moutinho & Bernando Silva from unnamed sides.
OK, that's gibberish. It's unreasonable to expect me to try and work out what the **** you're on about grammatically and then try to make some kind of sense of your football "knowledge".
"The Spanish media are fuming and saying this is revenge for what happened with Sergio Ramos (not going to Old Trafford).
Either way they win though Christian. If it goes through they get him now, if not he goes for FREE in 8 months
It would be a statement by United though ie we're so ****ing rich we'll do what we want. Sets a precedent. Not that I agree with it. I don't identify. I might design a badge for us "old" United fans!
I just read that. You are right its jibberish. Let me try to simplify it Christian says: 1. Martial is a great signing. Dont look at price as he improves our team. We have unlimited money to waste 2. De gea is a great sale we are making 30m. I called him out that point 2 doesnt make sense cause of point 1.
