I hope he plays & I´ll tell you why. He & Rooney are doing very well for their respective clubs at the mo where as Kane is doing next to **** all. Who else have England got up top ?
Vardy & Rooney for me & I really hope he bags a goal or 3 v SM, no disrespect but with his pace v amateurs ???

Trying to think, is he England's top league scorer at the mo? Anyway it's well deserved and I just hope he plays and scores.

The way he plays he could do more damage against someone like San Marino than many other strikers

Spot on Ed, he'd run riot and the rest of the players would love feeding off him.

Top English scorer in the Premier League is Callum Wilson but he can't be considered just yet IMO. After him Vardy is top English scorer

Thats what I'm about about, you can't call someone up based on 2 good games. Its like when there was talk of Vardy getting called up after the Man U game. Vardy has now proven he can cut it in the Prem and he has performed consistently and at the minute there isn't a better English striker so he is fully justified for a call up

Chuffed for the lad, particularly given his background he is very likeable

Really pleased for him, to think he was on the verge of quitting a couple of years ago. Non league to England international is some going in 3 years, a lot of hard work in there from the lad.

We only need 3 points from 4 games to qualify so a good opportunity for him and some others to be given a chance. Woy is clearly open to picking & playing some players in form not just because of who they are.

He's had a bit of abuse on twitter- i really hopes he puts in a great performance. My worry is that he may be played out wide of a front 3 where he isnt as effective

He'll be there to provide all the running around and setting up goals for that slacker Rooney to break the record.
