You've mentioned this before, why are you so concerned about next season? We sign the players that will do a job for us this season and once we go up, we sign players for the next. We have Aluko, Akpom, Hernandez and Luer left now, so we do need another striker. I don't think it matters whether he's permanent or a loan, in fact a loan would be better because if that player wasn't good enough for the PL, we could just not sign him again. If he's not good enough and he's on a long term contract, we're stuck with them.
Re:Wilson. Man Utd currently have two recognised strikers. They're signing another one but also selling Hernandez leaving them still with two. Unless they get another or two, Wilson will be making the bench a lot for them (if not straight into the first team).
I understand that Bruce was promised 10 mil if he brought in 20 mil. This he did but the promised amount was not forthcoming, he is not a happy bunny. I reckon if this window goes badly he may well walk. I reckon match days without the chairman et al must be a bit embarrassing too. Bad vibes all round
Oh yes? And where did you get this titbit from? Mrs Bruce been chatting over the frozen chickens in Morrisons has she?
Just found this link about Kuciak, it appears to be from last summer, but reads quite funny, that he's a bit of a nutter, throttling his team mate for giving the ball away! http://m.scotsman.com/sport/football/latest/rumour-mill-jeff-louis-to-celtic-zyro-hibs-1-3492923
Well my source is my cousin his source is a senior high up member of the club who he knows both through business & socially
We've spent £3.5m on Odubajo, £1.3m on Clucas, so just short of £5m. We'll probably spend £1m+ on a keeper and a decent loan fee for a striker. We won't be too far off the £10m. See what happens now Jela has gone
If we're willing to spend £1.1m on Kuciak, I don't understand why we won't go 50% higher for one of the most highly rated English keepers.
I never read the transfer board, think its far better on main page. Just my humble opinion, easier to sort through individual moves rather than sort through thousands of pages.
