With Jelavic going(hopefully) and Akpom out injured, we're looking very light up front. What's up with Akpom anyway?
Probably nobbled by Jelavic for not passing to him on Saturday. Minor details such as Jelavic not being involved on Saturday probably wouldn't stop him, judging by his attitude this season.
Probably thought long and hard about what he's seen so far and though '**** running around all day for this silly **** (Bruce)' hence a visit too the long term sick bench club.
Jelavic had a stinker against Charlton, all the team did too. Cant understand this attitude towards him. He bollocked Akpom for making a stupid decision against Wolves, good. He played well against Fulham and set up the winner. People were ****ing crying when a bag of **** like Mcshane went but are happy to let a quality player go. I wish he was staying. If he goes Bruce should get Carlton Cole on board asap. Exactly what we need.
He wants out, he has zero interest in playing Championship football and he earns a fortune, the sooner he's gone, the better.
Hope I'm wrong but I just can't see us getting a decent replacement. He was our best player by a long way when fit last season. We might get an emergency loan but otherwise we're relying on Akpom whose hardly touched the ball in his last two games (but for some reason doesn't get the same criticism our record premier league goalscorer does) and Hernandez who we'll just have to hope maintains his current level of interest. If we don't replace Jelavic we'll end up yet again with a strike force lacking in numbers, physical strength and application. By October it'll be Aluko on his own up front every week again. Maybe Maloney up there too if we're lucky.
Last season being the operative words. Apparently he has been **** and uninterested this season. Not a very professional attitude when you are being paid thousands a week. The sooner he has ****ed off the better imo.
