Talking about making things up, as I am having a rest day due to looking after grand-children yesterday, and with nothing better to do I scoured the Interweb. That 'Area Six' bloke is at it again on the Uglies - saying VVD is signed, but Saints representatives are in Portugal trying to get another signing across the line, and they are trying for yet another he called 'local' who is expecting high-wages so it might not happen. He also said three may go out on loan or transfer. I am not a frequent visitor to that forum so I have no idea if this is bullshine or genuine inside information. By local I presume he means current EPL player.
Rafa Silva would be amazing. I do think we need another attacking wide midfielder. Perhaps the Europa exit has slowed the urgency to bulk the squad. I expect Gaston, Mayuka and Isgrove to exit the club in one way or another

Sell VW, bring in PRAET. Classie back for West Brom. Give JWP more responsibility. Plenty of options there. Thought JWP and Romelu worked well together yesterday, also thought the move to bring on J Rod for Davis worked well. But still plenty of options for tougher games if VW leaves. Could play Classie and Romelu as DM or Celtic have used VVD in that role on occasions. So basically what I'm saying is sell VW as he has made it crystal that he doesn't want to play here.
