Mafia XI - An Unknown Evil -GAMEOVER Town/Anarchist Victory!

I'm not saying they will be undead (they may or may not be) if it is zombies, they could be converted immediately upon being bitten. Vampires and Zombies are effectively the same thing in this type of game.

I just think it would be very hard to make a game end within five days in a Mafia setup. Milk seems quite contempt that his setup will see us make day five where it will likely end so I think the evil dudes must be able to wipe out all townies in that time.

It's impossible to have a read on anyone yet, not even knowing the roles or the number of them makes it even harder than normal.

Hiding in the shadows when the game is likely to have a short time frame would seem to be a prudent strategy for the bad guys early on. But the BH gives them a ready made excuse as to why they're not participating. This will follow the normal path, we lynch a townie day 1 and be pissing in the wind day 2.

I agree that we can't have a tie, but for me day 1 we should go no lynch unless we have a tangible reason as to why we're going to lynch a specific player.

 

I can easily make a game end that quick... MY own killing spree set up (game 7) was designed such that i know that 3/4 people would die each day and end game would be reached by friday.

I am assuming from what milk is saying that the rising evil will end the game somehow. and we need to defeat it to win. If we defeat it then the town wins and if the bad guys use it (remember the bit about the medium being used) then they win.

I am personally expecting a lynch and one or two kills. I am hoping that tomorrow the info will give us enough to let us surmise who many bad teams there are and what their names are.

 

Sure, you can give the Mafia lots of dudes that can kill but you have to then equal it out and give the town killers too. What happens if the town killers kill the Mafia killers? There is no way of guaranteeing the game will be over in five days. Same can be said for zombie/vampire games too mind. Maybe someone as self destruct role? Avoid being killed until day five to destroy everyone? Get lynched beforehand and kill everyone anyway

Personally, I'm leaning towards no lynch, at least we get a better idea of what the unknown evil dudes are once the actions have taken place (we'll know if its a recruit or kill etc). Only problem is if it is Mafia and they have recruits, will we notice a difference?

I'm not casting a vote for now though, I'll see what other info gets drummed up first.

 

Lots of assumptions flying around about set up, teams, numbers, etc. It is an UNKNOWN EVIL and the OP states that "Several of your party arrive at this hotel with murder on their minds." SEVERAL!

I am keeping an open mind and not trusting anyone right now - even those who appear to be helping, as it may be they know more and are steering us.

It is kind of important though as one type of evil benefits from no lynch whereas another version wouldn't.

On the last day there is a zombie uprising so anyone we lynch will be able to come back and kill us

On the other hand voting no lynch just causes scuffles to break out in which multiple people can die

So I recommend lynching Dêrêk Asâmöâh

He is not really dead, he is one of the players dressed up (who can't post until he reveals himself later in the game) just like the ending of Saw

Maybe it's a good thing as you can now defend yourself while their actions might be looked at as a link between them.... Though it would seem very ham fisted as a mafia team tactic.
