Lennon to West Ham apparently (heard via ITKs with links to WHU ITKs so double the pinch of salt here)

Maybe they got a loan from Newham Council to buy him

These "ITK", that trawl the internet for transfer gossip, which forum do they reside on these days, or are the football agents still active on twitter?

I've heard that Lennon to Everton is close to completion and if that is the case then I expect top ITK status.

If we don't start hearing progress/completion some of the outs or ins today, then I think it's safe to say we won't be getting who we need.

We've got 3 outs to complete tomorrow, of which adebayor seems to be a very tricky one.
As for Lennon, if Everon are still interested, why aren't they signed him by now if he was part of their squad plans? Especially after having him on loan last season.

The. There's lamela who we need to shift in order to bring down the would be net spend.

Just cannot see levy starting the "ins" process, until he knows thpse unwanted players are close to going.

I'm also struggling to see us spending £20 mill on a DMF too.

It'll be another disappointing one, imo. There's no guarantees we'll even get a striker! Quite worrying actually.

Today is a big day. We're got to start seeing the wheels in motion.

The media are making a lot of noise about us bidding for Axel Witsel today.
He's a big-haired, Belgian midfielder who plays in a former Soviet country.
    Welcome to Chelsea!

But what if Eriksen wants to leave and we just don't know about it?

Honestly the only thing I'm confident about is that he wouldn't be sold to another PL team. We seen so much madness over the years in the transfer window that it genuinely wouldn't surprise me if Erisken leaves an Mason or Demebele is being prepped to take over as the number 10.

However, a player of his importance and cost would surely have made at least one ripple in one gossip column somewhere? Kane and Lloris have filled up plenty this summer yet I haven't heard or read a peep about Eriksen.

I agree that the hold up is outgoings now and getting big earners like Ade off the wage bill.

Austin to United is now being hinted at all over the place and tbh I couldn't care less if he went there as he's completely the wrong type of player to bring the best out of Rooney, nor do any of their midfielders apparently know how to cross the ball which means he'll be starved of service.

Berahino and Wanyama would be a dream come true but it just won't happen. Although how and why WBA plan on having 5 senior strikers on their books until at least January is beyond me, unless Peace really is more stubborn than Levy.

The main thing that would worry me with Eriksen is the Juve link from a while ago, which seemed to coincide with the timing of his injury.
Combine that with all of the speculation about Pogba moving to the Premier League and there's the vague possibility that it might be true.
Could all be coincidence, of course.

Wouldn't mind Witsel at all. Good player but ironically likely to want higher wages than Wanyama coming from Zenit St Mercenaries, and also more likely to see us as a stepping stone to bigger clubs.

Maybe our old pal AVB could do us a favour <whistle>

    Hmm

No way Juve could be that stupid to think that Eriksen could replace Pogba? Completely different players. He's a younger (and better) Yaya Toure.

I always think that he's got a lot in common with Toure, but they seem to play him in some weird positions.
He tends to spend time out on the wings and running about aimlessly, for some reason.

They've lost their first two games and have been silly enough to take Cuadrado from Chelsea on loan, so who knows?

Didn't they sign him for around 40m Euro?! Not surprising that was rejected.

I read somewhere that a €25m would actually be higher than their €40m transfer fee, due to the change in the exchange rates or something.
Putin introduced some foreign player limit recently too, so I think they want to offload a few.

There's no way news of it would not have been leaked by juventus, an agent or whoever in my opinion.
But then again, with my record of predictions I guess I should prepare for him to go at 5.55pm tomorrow <laugh>

Nope...who in their right mind would touch him...his is emotionally and mentally a mess and I don't mean that cruelly, it just seems that he is acting like he has lost it.

Wouldn't surprise me if Putin also introduced caps on black and homosexual players too. It's such a relief that he's the democratically elected leader of the country.

Not seen an abundance of Witsel due to him playing in Russia these days but he reminds me a lot of Dembele - good on the ball, strong, can get forward and back but ultimately doesn't really control the game or impact it with goals & assists... Do we really need another midfielder like that?

and sadly I think his wages on our books will really make a difference to who we end up bringing in. The hatred for Adebayor could reach a new level.
