Not a rumour per se but reports of a transfer request being handed in. Didn't i read on here a while back that he's an R's fan and was spotted around Middlesborough wearing an R's shirt or am i mixing him up with someone else? BBC Tees reports Middlesbrough winger Albert Adomah hassubmitted a transfer request, although boss Aitor Karanka says he "can't imagine" the scenario. please log in to view this image Getty Images The Ghana international, 27, was left out of Tuesday's League Cup win at Burton, with Karanka reluctant to speak of Adomah's future. "I can't imagine Albert has presented a transfer request," Karanka told BBC Tees. "I have said many times how important he is for the team I heard from him after the Oldham game (also in the League Cup) and he was very proud to wear the (captain's) armband, so for that reason I can't imagine him handing in a request." Thoughts?
He's class. Probably out of our price range. I do believe he is indeed a QPR fan. Started off at Barnet so presumably quite local.
Once Charlie goes we better have a Plan A because we won't have much time to get a deal done. Otherwise it will be last season, with Remy, all over again.
QPR set to sign Middlesbrough exile Adomah ahead of transfer deadline please log in to view this image LONDON BOUND?: QPR are set to move for Albert Adomah ahead of tomorrow's transfer deadline please log in to view this image Reported by Scott Wilson Published 4 hours ago / Sport http://m.thenorthernecho.co.uk/spor...ough_exile_Adomah_ahead_of_transfer_deadline/ QPR are ready to offer Albert Adomah an escape route from the Riverside, with the winger keen to force through a move away from Middlesbrough ahead of tomorrow’s transfer deadline. Adomah was left out of the squad for the second game in succession as Boroclaimed a 3-1 win at Sheffield Wednesday at the weekend, and while Aitor Karanka continues to publicly claim the winger could still have a future on Teesside, The Northern Echo understands there is little chance of him remaining beyond the end of the transfer window. Having submitted a formal transfer request on Thursday, the 27-year-old has clearly spelled out his desire to move on in the wake of the dressing-room bust-up with Karanka that followed Boro’s 1-0 home defeat to Bristol City.
Pushes Hoilett down the pecking order though it makes you wonder what the plan is for Gladwin & Mackie. Squad players I guess. Just get down the road to Watford for a striker or two. They've got millions.
Albie is a lovely man and is welcome back at Ashton Gate any time. He has great skill and dribbles really well - his final ball lets him down Simply - a great player to watch
He's a bit older than Phillips but is about as good a replacement as we could hope to get and weakens a promotion rival if you see us as a potentially promoted team. Always nice when we sign a fan too.
This would be a good addition to the squad, and you can guarantee he'll play his heart out, bring a life-long Rs fan - fingers crossed on this one
The fan thing is an important one in my opinion. Something we've been lacking in recent times. Last one I can remember was Lee Cook. Can't remember if Rowlands and Gaz were QPR fans before they signed though.
Hypothetically if we had Adomah, Phillips and Chery it would be a bit like what Palace have with Bolasie, Zaha and Puncheon. Very exciting but a bit lacking defensively, especially if the two behind are Faurlin and Luongo. Luongo looks a much better play further up the field.
That was definitely my favourite QPR team albeit not the most talented. Genuine fans in the team plus blokes who clearly just loved to play football like Ainsworth, Furlong and Rowlands.
