I met Derren Nesbitt earlier in the year, an actor from way back when, (where eagles dare among other things)who reckoned that Gerry Anderson had based the thunderbird puppets on his face.....he didn't mention VVD joining though so I won't believe it till its on the OS
We have quite the way to go! I can't even think of a footballer named Gordon. Edit: unless you allowed Jordy
Film number two on the list of films Dads must watch with their sons. We did this a few years back and was a huge success
Where Eagles Dare was a great film. A thriller before they felt you had to add stupid stuff to keep teenagers interested.
Off topic. I just looked him up to see which character he played and was amazed to read he was born with the surname "Horwitz" which is a strong Jewish name. Ironic that so many of his roles were playing Nazi officers. I wonder how he felt about that.
We have been given an extra day because all the legal stuff can't be completed on a Bank Holiday. Does that mean that an announcement and photoshoot can't be done either. Must we wait till tomorrow?
I don't think it had any influence Flt, he went where the work was - very practical sort of guy who was able to completely separate personal and work life. Has a million stories to tell about life in showbiz, great after dinner speaker, even greater after a load of G&Ts. His blue max stories are hilarious.
Scott Marshall Virgil Van Dijk Alan Shearer (bonus of looking like puppet) Gordon Watson John Otsemembor Tom Parker Barry Venison as Lady Penelope Any others or better?
